Lättvik
In collaboration with Ludvig Witte
The starting point in the project was to make a new product out of aluminium. We choose to design a modern folding chair, possible to use outdoors as well as indoors. Due to it´s construction Lättvik is far more compact than traditional folding chairs making it possible to store inside a standard kitchen cabinet. The seat and the back are made out of extruded aluminium profiles making it possible to produce the chair in large volumes. Lättvik is published in the brochure Aluminium design 2004.

Skansens Guerezor
Client: Skansen, in collaboration with: Mattias Karlsson
Outdoor cage, breaking up the cube. To break up the strict angular and repiterate architecture, we choose to cut a hole in the wall and let the cage hang out from the wall. This would not only save space and money but also make the border between indoor and outdoor environment more transparent. The visitor would not anylonger have to go inside to find the guerezas but see them outside showing there are more to see inside.

Transforming toys Client: Brio, Proventus
TRANSFORMER, a shape that changes character When looking at the traditional BRIO range of toys they all have one thing in common, when the child reach a certain age the customers have to start collecting a new range of toys. Everytime they come to that position there is a risk they choose a different brand. Brio toys are so high quality they survives in generations.
BRIO Baby & Preschool Toys
Based on those two facts my conclusion was, why not make a vertical line instead with toys that grows with the children. The result became the start of a family of toys all using interchangable parts making possible to give old toys new life with e.g. a new motorized chassi. In the end all of the toys in the transformer line make one big family that plays with each other.

The booth which caught our attetion above all was Our Demand. It is an organization founded last year for students of Swedish art schools, such as Beckmans School of Design and Konstfack, supporting them and sending them to the world. This was the first time for them to join the fair, but exhibited high quality art works. +81 plus Column

Barça
Barça is a flexible seating system. From the three basic modules it´s possible to add, not just more seating modules but also a table and a lamp. All components are possible to take apart and the upholstery is designed to be washable and possible to replace.

STOL
The chair should invite to a comfortable experience and get the user to feel taken care of. It should be a chair which with a good treatment should last for a long time, a chair that age with digninty. The seat, back, spine and support can all be dissasembled making it possible to clean, replace parts or upholster the chair. From a technincal viewpoint I have focused to make use of the modern possibilites in cnc machines. Making it possible to get a shape looking partly hand crafted yet still modern. This to get a chair that feels exclusive but still is rational to produce.

In collaboration with Massproductions
The Ellan chair designed by Chris Martin/Massproductions was introduced in the IKEA PS Collection 2005. As a fictitious project Massproductions asked me to design a table for the chair. My aim with the table was to give it a classic shape easy to recognize. At the same time make it unique and give it a completely new construction. The table consists of 6 different parts which assembles whitout the use of tools. The support construction is self interlocking just like the chair. The tabletop can be turned around making it possible to have two diffenrent sufaces. The whole support is made of a recycled wood fiber composite and the tabletop of high pressure laminate. By changing the length of the crossmember and the whith of the tabletop the table can be produced in different sizes using the same legs.

Fire was one of the first sources of light that were harnessed by man. In 1878 Joseph Wilson Swan and in 1879 Thomas Alva Edison invented the first light bulb. Since then electric light has taken many different shapes, still the classic light bulb is the most commonly used. The Uni lamp might not change our life the way the light bulb did but hopefully make it a little bit brighter. The Uni lamp is as its name intends universal. Use it as you want as a reading lamp, uplight, spotlight or diffused. The Uni lamp will take any light bulb with a standard E27 socket. Uni is coated with a special rubber like coating which makes it suitable even for the bathroom or the garden.

Recircle
Recycling paper is a daily task in the modern office. For some reason a lot of other things than paper tends to end up in the waste paper bin.

Recircle
The aim with Recircle is to make waste paper recycling so easy you don´t even have to think about it. The upholstered lid/seat makes it natural to not throw things such as chewing gums and food packages. The extra a handle in the bottom gives an ergonomic grip when it´s time to empty the basket. In the same time you get a practical stool for unexpected guests, all for the purpose of making time at the office easier.

Sticka
