What's for Launch? Chantel resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a mother of 3 and a model who started modeling to bring awareness to domestic violence and sexual assault. When she left a sevenyear abusive relationship while working at a domestic violence agency, she discovered all the gaps within the services. Chantel was able to turn a negative situation into a positive one. Modeling as a career can be an advancement in the Fashion industry. I'm a fit-mom sharing what I do to get fit especially with being a C-section mommy. It's hard losing that belly fat but it can be done with eating right and working out. Especially eating right because "Abs are made in the kitchen" that's my go to saying. The reason been food help a lot more with weight loss then working out. "ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN" FITNESS I have been on my journey for 3 years now and with losing weight came easy. I just ate small portions and kept track of what I ate for the whole week. Making sure you know your calorie counts I used a app to help and also I sacle to keep track of how much I can eat ad what to eat. I was 110 and drop to my regular weight within a month. I didn't used any products that you have to keep constantly buying they just cost to much. It's so much you can do with working out and with foods. Let's get on the right track and get healthier without buying over the top products these days.

I got more attention, They were all in my inbox, claiming they ball; Did I mention? When I was out there in the world. My money was building; my brickhouse was stacked right, Now, I’m giving my swine, my pearls; Waking up in the wee hours of the night, To check pages and respond to DMs. Praying that God just sends him, But instead I hit ignore; Don’t check social media anymore, I deleted the app. As a matter of fact, No notifications; False anticipations, Rethinking. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF. WRITTEN BY CARLA MADISON My name is Natha Pasha and I am from Atlanta, Ga. I moved to New York about a year and a half ago to push myself into becoming a better person. I've struggled with poverty as a child with me, my twin brother and mother. We did everything we could to just well survive.
Luckily we meet a few good people that helped us become the people we are today. I recently started an online care company called KInky Clips Nyc. Growing up I had a lot of confidence issues as a child, that lead into my teen years and as an adult. Hair was a struggle for me. I was constantly trying to find a hairstyle I was comfortable with. I've tried almost everything. I decided to go natural about 5 years ago. however, I still wore straight weaves and have wigs and not fully embracing my own texture. I've tried all the "how to" videos and products but it never really looked the way I wanted it to look. After years of going back and forth, I finally started playing with clip in hair extensions. I realized I was able to wear my hair in its natural state, add instant length and volume and protected my hair at the same time. I want to be there for women with natural hair who evolve their natural hair look. Wheater they want to add length, volume, color or all the above

WHAT'S YOUR INGREDIENTS TO A LONG LASTING SISTERHOOD? My ingredients to a longlasting sisterhood are constant communication and constantly working on the connection you have with your sisters.
WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL IN LIFE? My ultimate goal in life to have multiple businesses, give back to the community and to be the best mother I can be. ( not a mother yet)
WHAT'S YOUR DEFINITION OF WOMEN EMPOWERMENT? Women Empowerment means supporting other women even if you are reaching for the same goal. Sometimes we get so caught up in competing with each other instead of working together to learn and build each other up.
WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE YOURSELF? HAHAHA STAY CONSTANT AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY

WHO INSPIRED YOU TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAM? My brother and my mother. I have a twin brother and he has traveled all over the world doing what he loves because he is consistent in what he does and who he is. He is my biggest inspiration. My mom had nothing but 2 kids at the same time. She is the definition of sacrifice. I do it for them. They are my why.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO AN UPCOMING ENTREPRENEUR? HOW WOULD YOU TURN A NEGATIVE SITUATION INTO SOMETHING POSITIVE? You have to take every "negative" situation and say I was lead down this path for a reason. Someone said no for a reason, He didn't call me back for a reason, I didn't get the job for a reason. And you have to either learn from it and leave it, or come at from another angle and keep going.
When you find your calling be consistent, only consistency will result in change. But be sure to be picky in what you are consistent with.

Children's Festival
SUNNY DAYS AT THE CYNTHIA WOODS MITCHELL PAVILION NOVEMBER 10TH The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transformed into a giant playground for the 23rd Annual Children’s Festival presented by Exxon Mobil, It was a fun experience and exciting to see the kids enjoy themselves.
With performers on multiple stages, character meet and greets, a special toddler area just for the youngest festivals, arts and crafts, hands-on activities and friendly neighborhood adventures located all around the venue, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Our President, Fontonette Smith and Community Service Coordinator, Echo Brisco had a chance to work with The Pavilion Event Center along Anadarko's Arts Alleyway. The kids were able to learn about lines, colors, shapes, patterns, unity, balance and more by using these elements to make imaginative creations.
