Ebuzzing launch new ‘Double V’ shoppable video format London, October 2013: Ebuzzing, the global video advertising company, has released ‘Double V’, a fully-integrated advertising and ecommerce solution that for the first time enables consumers to buy products immediately after watching HD online video advertising. Double V will give brands the opportunity to deliver a full HD video to consumers, which opens up to full-screen when clicked on. Brands are then only charged when 100% of the video has been viewed and once the video ends, the Double V format directly opens up advertiser websites within the video format. Ebuzzing’s new Double V format means advertisers benefit from greater engagement rates, as brands only pay for users to see the brand website that have opted into the experience and are the target audience for the ads. All brand websites are immediately compatible with the Double V format and the platform is distributed within a select number of premium websites using an enriched Ebuzzing video player. Rebecca Mahony, Chief Marketing Officer at Ebuzzing said: “Shoppable video is a great new advertising medium and its benefits are backed up by hard stats recent research by Google found that 40% of shoppers visited a store in person or online as a direct result of watching a video, while 34 % of apparel shoppers said they were more likely to make a purchase after viewing an online video.” “At Ebuzzing we passionately believe online video is the most impactful form of advertising and the Double V video format that makes online stores accessible straight from video ads feels like the next exciting step in the rapid evolution of the sector.” ENDS
