30th Anniversary of the World Youth Choir From mid-July to early August 2019 60 young singers from around the world 10 days of rehearsal in Millau Southern region of Occitanie: - numerous prestigious festivals - rich culture of gastronomy - diversified natural landscape, - captivating history. - Hosted by Plate-forme interrĂŠgionale in cooperation with multiple partners

SINGERS – HOW TO APPLY? Eligible singers that have never participated in the World Youth Choir should audition in their home country applying for a national selection with a recruiter in their country Candidates are auditioned by national recruiters, preferably live in front of a jury, appointed by a national recruiting institution/organization (music organizations, choral organizations, universities, music schools, conductors, music teachers, etc). In countries without recruiters, singers should request to apply via direct application. The list of recruiters can be found in the World Youth Choir website.

SINGERS - SELECTION PROCESS National audition - Range test - Sight-reading - Prepared score - Aria of choice Final international selection The audition material of those selected in the national audition will be digitally submitted to the international jury including: - Online application form - 4 mp3 audition files - Short CV + ID type photo - Colour photocopy or scan of applicants’ passport - Candidates' physical presence is not required

SINGERS – ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Singers should be: - Between 17 and 26 years old on July 1st, 2019. - A passionate choral singer. - From a background of basic or semi professional music education. - Ready to meet new friends all over the world. - Able to speak English at an intermediate level. - Seeking a different professional challenge. - Eager to learn in a multicultural environment. Auditions for the 2019 session will start from November 2018.
