Did You Know?
• Daemen is making its eighth consecutive appearance in the ECC Championship tournament. The Wildcats have advanced to the semifinal round each of the last eight seasons. Daemen is seeking its first conference tournament title since joining the ECC.
• Daemen is looking to advance to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the fourth time in the past five years.
• Daemen has posted at least 15 wins in each of the past 11 seasons (not counting the COVID-19 shortened 2020-21 season) and has reached the 20-win plateau eight times over that same stretch.
• Daemen leads the ECC in team defense, allowing just under 66 points per game.
• Redshirt senior Joey Atkins has become just the fifth player in program history to record 50 or more blocks in a season.
• Junior Andrew Mason has become the first Daemen player since the 2019-20 season to make 60 or more three-pointers in a season. He leads the ECC and ranks among the top five nationally in three-point field goal percentage.
Daemen University is a private, nonsectarian, co-educational, comprehensive college in Amherst, New York, chartered to award both undergraduate and graduate level degrees.
