Your Home from Home

We place the highest priority on care and supervision at our Academy locations to ensure students feel relaxed, comfortable and supported - creating a home away from home.

STUDENT CARE AND WELFARE

The accommodation is made up of various boarding houses and college residences made up of single and shared rooms that are welcoming and comfortable.

Each Academy provides 24-hour pastoral care for the students in their residence. Our staff are on hand to wake students up in the morning, make sure everyone is eating healthily and are participating and happy. If any medical issues arise we have trained first aiders available and, if required, our staff have established links with local doctors, dentists and hospitals.

MEALS

A range of food is available at our Academy locations with three meals served per day. ‘We put emphasis on healthy eating and cater for a variety of special diets. On full-day excursions packed lunches are provided.

MEET-AND-GREET UPON ARRIVAL

EC Academy provides a dedicated meet-and-greet and transfer* service for all students to ensure a smooth arrival and transfer to centre.

DEPARTURE TRANSFER

We provide a departure transfer* for all students and our team will also assist students checking in at the airport.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

We provide full support for students travelling as unaccompanied minors. Please ensure we are made aware at the point of booking should a student be travelling as a ‘UM’.

24-HOUR SUPPORT

Anyone who has questions or needs any kind of support can speak to our staff at the centre or contact our dedicated Academy 24-hour emergency telephone number.

GUARDME INSURANCE

All students travelling abroad must have adequate insurance in case of a medical or other emergency. EC Academy offers a comprehensive insurance policy called Guardme, which is specifically designed to meet the needs of international students.

* Students may be grouped together with others that are arriving at a similar time unless specifically requested that they travel individually.
