Design principles which include the significance of craftsmanship, composition, proportioning, design elements and requires students to design a 1:1 scale buildable product
Introduces students to case study and anthropometric study and requires students to design a buildable structure on an open or flat land for up to two persons' use on an area of 3x3 metres.
Introduces students to basic site analysis, design intention, quality of space and space planning and requires students to design a one to two storey dwelling on an open or flat land for up to four persons' use within 100sqm.
Introduces students to comprehensive site analysis and design response design and requires students to design a two storey public building using specific materials and construction on an open or minimal contour land for up to 30-40 persons' use within 300 - 350sqm.
