The Minnesota Retailers Association (MnRA) recognized an Alexandria business in 2020 for its attention to the customer service experience.

Past & Present Home Gallery, owned by Jeff and Lynelle Lanoue, was awarded the Customer Experience Award through the Minnesota Retail Champions program.

“In an industry filled with intense competition, Past & Present Home Gallery is truly a unique store with its everchanging inventory and commitment to a personalized experience for each customer,” said Bruce Nustad, MnRA president. “This is the place to visit if you want to see what a Minnesota store with heart feels like.

The Lanoues were honored during a virtual Retail Rally event in October and at the Chamber’s Annual Celebration on January 18.

The MnRA promotes, preserves and enhances the retail industry in Minnesota by taking a leadership position in development of public policy and regulatory measures that impact members.

Past & Present Home Gallery is located in a historic building at 619 Broadway St. in Alexandria.
