ANDRIAtheatre

Community theater presented by the Andria Theater produces four main stage shows each season to entertain audiences in the lakes area.

The Andria Theatre will see a return to the stage after last year, beginning with Grease, the popular musical about Rydell High and is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals Company.

This fun-filled production is set around the Class of 1959 and is a salute to the rock ‘n’ roll era. The performances will be June 16-19 and 23-26 at 7 p.m.

Both brand new and seasoned actors take the stage before the more than 10,000 audience members that visit the theater annually.

Those shows include a wide variety of entertainment, from classic to farce and from drama to musical comedy.

Each fall, the Andria Theater season begins with a large-scale musical, which utilizes a live orchestra pit. The winter holiday show usually features a family-friendly holiday play, and the remainder of the season brings to life a wide variety of venues for audiences.

Both onstage and off, audiences will notice many familiar faces as the Andria Theater takes advantage of the talents of local artists and community members – a true community theater.
