Band Accomplishments:

Past honors for the Fergus Falls High School Marching Band have included four appearances in the International Lions Parade, with first place finishes in Seattle in 2011 and Boston in 2006, and representatives of Minnesota in the 2009 and 2013 presidential inaugural parades. In 2017, the band performed in the Independence Day Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band will perform in five parades this season starting at Summerfest in their hometown of Fergus Falls. Following that, the band will perform at Pioneerland Band Festival in Benson, Wadena, the WillmarFest Parade in Willmar, the Vikingland Band Festival in Alexandria and the Minnesota State Fair.

This year the band is performing three pieces to honor America. The show begins with our National March “Stars and Stripes Forever,” before transitioning into a wonderful rendition of “Grand Old Flag.” The routine closes with the band’s own arrangement of “Yankee Doodle Dandy.”

The band members, Fergus Falls High School, and the community of Fergus Falls all take pride in the Fergus Falls High School Marching Band. With today’s performance, the band members hope that you “Share The Pride.”
