Joyetech VTwo 80W and Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini 75W Today I would like to share my impression of the updated versions of Joyetech's very popular box mod: Joyetech eVic VTwo Battery Mod and Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini 75W Box Mod.
Joyetech eVic VTwo received modern functionality and the ability to update. Also in the new box mod appeared real-time clock.

In order not to overload the review and not to repeat the already well-known, I will dwell in detail only on the fact, what really changed new opportunities and testing of the work of new box mod.

My box mod is a black version. The bodies themselves are exactly the same as those of the predecessors eVic VT and eVic VTC Mini.

It's nice that the package immediately has protective silicone covers. The quality is good, they sit tight (at least for the time being).
The available colors of variants of the box mods' design have significantly expanded. Everyone will be able to choose the option to their liking. Now the firmware update function is available for both box mod. The functional is the most modern and add a real-time display.

Differences between Joyetech eVic VTwo 80W and Joyetech eVic VT 60W:
As it is already clear from the name of box mod, the maximum output power has slightly increased. Now it is 80W.
The dimensions remained exactly the same. There was a button "Reset", hours, new modes and most importantly: now the firmware can be updated.

Now on the black version, there is no chrome coating anywhere. The button "Fire" and the joystick "+" / "-" are now made of plastic (they will not go around).
From the bottom of the box, a reset button and reset "Reset" appeared, which if necessary can be pressed for example with a match.

Now the matte coating (as in VTC Mini, probably powder painting) and prints does not catch. Inscriptions are barely noticeable and do not strain.
The connector and the mechanism of the joystick has not changed. Inside, the same unit of Li-Pol batteries (in the future can be replaced by 2x18650).

Differences between Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini 75W and Joyetech eVic VTC 60W:
Externally, the eVic VTwo Mini has virtually no (except for the inscriptions) differences from the VTC Mini. They look like twin brothers.
Slightly different appearance of the spring-loaded positive contact and removed the serial number from the upper magnet (now it is not).

Slightly different recess for easy opening of the battery compartment cover (it became a little less width).
The very bottom edge of the cover of the eVic VTC Mini is slightly more rounded. Also, the size and arrangement of the inscriptions from the bottom of the mod slightly changed.

The inscriptions are exactly the same unobtrusive (visible only at a certain angle). The coating is the same (probably powder painting).
The connectors remained the same. In VTwo, it protrudes slightly above the surface. There will be fewer scratches, but a small gap is possible. If the changes in eVic VTwo are comparatively and eVic VT very significant, the Mini actually only add functions of real time. But this required changes in the hardware part of the motherboard and that's why it was already called the VTwo Mini.

Verdict: Joyetech eVic VTwo 80W Battery Mod: Compared to its predecessor Joyetech eVic VT, the new mod has become much more attractive. The power has increased to 80 watts, received the most up-to-date functional (even the clock and toy have added) and the ability to update the firmware (thanks to this in the future it is expected to increase the power to at least 100 watts, since the built-in Li-Pol battery allows it). Mod became quieter to work (there is no loud buzz and ticking). More color solutions and there are matte coatings (will not catch prints). In the black version, the chrome was removed from the top cover and now it is completely black. The buttons and joystick are now made of plastic (they will not peel and the button is quiet). All the other minuses corrected. The built-in batteries live long enough, and if desired, in the future can be replaced by 2x18650. For a very large number of people of autonomy, fashion is guaranteed enough for a day. So the box mod will be quite a good choice for many users, because it is noticeably smaller than the mods on 2 replaceable 18650 batteries.
Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini 75W: New real-time display functions could not be implemented on the hardware platform eVic VTC Mini. In this case, the developers were forced to upgrade and iron. IMHO, the old version will not be released, and the new one will just replace it gradually. To change something cardinally in the already licked almost to the ideal and still extremely popular and sold boxmode simply does not make sense. The most important thing is that both devices work just fine and there are no new jambs.
