Graduated in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano in July 2016, I’m fascinated in all that composes the architectural, material, interior and product design world. My previous degree in Media Languages, with advertising orientation, allowed me to accumulate during the time cross competencies between the communication and interior design field, making me able to intersect communicative and functional perspective in planning environment. Finished my academic experience, after a five months period abroad to improve my english, I am now looking for an opportunity that allows me to learn, develop and put into practice my knowledge in the working environment.

GRADUATION THESIS IN MEDIA LAGUAGES

TITLE:

ABSTRACT Through this conclusive work I wanted to deal with the subject of connections that subsist between action, context and product-service system, analyzing the fundamental mindsets as activity theory, cognitive and e t h n o m e to d o l o g i c approach and the situated action theory. The study has been developed analysing different typologies of physical, relational and semiotic context with whom user and designer have to communicate with into the service itself.

In the product area of the project the user can find a rhytmic subdivision of the space made by the vertical partition of the wall panels, the main supply typology for liquid melted products (face and body oils/creams). Infact, recessed into the panels there are cork dispencers designed in dimensions and ergonomics thinking about an hypotetical clientele flow. The commodities range expected includes specific beauty care products for face, body, hair and make up. The attention on environment and sustainability are guaranteed through the recycling of products glass containers, arranged into the partition next to the main entrance. Further displays are positioned at the bottom of the wall panels (powder products) and centrally along the longitudinal axis of the space (most attractive products and soaps). Previous the check-out there’s a little waiting area that works as element of connection with the service area and as a rest point to test samples. External facade view

CORPORATE AND BRAND IDENTITY

In the service area the services connected to products test have been situated subdividing the space in functional areas. A first, wide space hosts services devoted to make up and hair care; from this space the user can access to the beauty specialist’s office, previous the room dedicated to face creams. Adjiacent this last one, the user can find the area devoted to body care, with a little toilet annexed. A modular interlocking system has been especially designed to permit the variability of the set-up and the useful shelfs, based on functional and aesthetical necessities of the users.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL ELEMENTS FOR AN APARTMENT

PROJECT This project illustrates the renovation of a typical apartment in Milan, re-thinking the space disposition in order to take advantage from its functional and aesthetical potential. In particular, I focused the attention on the staircase, which is both library, storage compartment and element of connection between different spaces.

Rendering an existing space MAISON LOUIS CARRĂˆ ALVAR AALTO

Site plan 1:300

PROJECT In this project the target has been the faithful 3d visualisation of this Alvar Aalto architecture, Maison Louis-Carrè, through digital modeling and rendering. Focusing on the living room, it was necessary to refer to the original furniture designed by the architect himself, that decorates the whole space. 29

OTHER WORKS

Starting from an initial current trend research, the choice has been directed to a minimal style. The concept from whom the realized textures are born summarizes the idea that surface decoration has not to be necessarily an addition to material, but in this case makes evidence on what is already present on the texture of the material itself.

WORKSHOP 2016 In this project I wanted to visualize, through an abstract mockup, the study of textures in relation to materials for the graphic company Tideo, in occasion of Politecnico di Milano’s workshop.

COLOR AND PERCEPTION

The project, in the research range of connections between color and perception had the goal to create a dispositive able to make evidence of colors in relation to materials.

Laser cut texture realized on the starting materials.

Mockup renders for Tideo

This dispositive has been designed to allow the user to be able to perceive different colors in relation to different materic finishes. In this case we took the glass treated in different superficial finishes. The four disks squeeze one over the other through a central pivot that allows them to rotate.
