COMMITTEE REPORTS: 1. Allocations Committee – Annie Bachman • 3 Allocations passed out of committee • Meeting moved from Sunday to Monday • Bill Harlan coming to speak 2. College Council Allocations Committee – Laura Rachelle White • Will be seeing an Appeal for Bilingual social event • Passed 2 Allocations and 1 Tabled 3. Privilege Fee Committee – Jessica Schultz • Bramalage Privelege Fee- Contract up for 15,000 for the next 3 years should not be controversial • Marching Band- Dr. Tracz compiled what they will need. Will be working with Athletic Director Curry to figure out future funds. “Historic” committee has been informed and has given good feedback

Study Abroad request- Privilege Fee is not very interested in meeting the request but are trying to find alternative source of funding
4. Senate Operations Committee – Joseph Norris • By-Laws and Statutes Amendments- Informed Exec that he would be giving presentation during Senate 5. Governmental Relations Committee – Danny Unruh • In process of Legislative Advocacy Program. Want strong footing so starting within Senate. Getting Senators contact information so they can help with program over winter break. DIRECTORS’ REPORTS 1. Intern Coordinator Report – Natalie Rauth • Decided on the fall Intern project i. Local high school student councils ii. Good neighbors program • Interns have joined committees 2. Student Body President’s Report – Dalton Henry • Student Affairs Director and Public Relations Director appointment next week 3. Student Body Vice-President’s Report – Wayne Stoskopf • Education Opportunity Fund Committee met and are beginning to review applications • Schulz wants SGA to sponser two online chats this semester • Public Relations committee position and Student Affairs position is open 4. Cabinet Report – Dena Bunnel • International Affairs Director Abdul is doing an interview with National Kuwaiti TV Station, giving publicity to K-State 5. Student Senate Parliamentarian Report – Kathy Sexton • Introduced new Parliamentarian Nathan Spriggs SPEAKER PRO TEM’S REPORT 1. Website- Committee members are picking certain topics to talk about itn blogs to dispel rumors regarding campus issues SPEAKER’S REPORT • Important Upcoming Dates: o Parking Garage Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be October 29, 2009 at 10 am o Childcare Development Center Groundbreaking will be October 2nd at 10 am o SGA Social with Salina Campus SGA Exec Meeting will be at 5:30pm • Faculty Evaluation Committee
