quem nunca desejou passar uns dias num “santuário” de tranquilidade, longe do stress e das preocupações do dia-a-dia, em comunhão com a natureza? E se acrescentarmos o bónus de dormir num quarto acolhedor, com vista sobre o oceano, dormindo e acordando ao ritmo da luz do sol e do embalo das ondas? E se lhe dissermos que esse local existe, na costa da província do Namibe, onde os rochedos que debruam o deserto se despenham no Atlântico? A aventura para lá chegarmos começa quando saímos da Estrada Nacional 100, apanhando a picada que ao longo de 20 km, só aconselháveis a veículos 4X4, nos vai revelando um ambiente inóspito que chega a dar a sensação de estarmos a atravessar uma paisagem lunar. Passamos por mulolas esculpidas nos tempos em que os rios por ali corriam e subimos ao cume de montes e montanhas onde a vista alcança um horizonte de parar a respiração. Subitamente vislumbramos ao fundo de uma descida íngreme o primeiro dos edifícios da Praia do Soba: uma casinha branca, redonda, com um típico telhado de jango. Semelhante às que, mais à frente, compõem o resort dirigido por Andréa e te um almoço no restaurante aberto sobre a praia, nos contam a história do espaço. O Praia do Soba começou a tomar forma quando alguém falou daquela baía escondida ao pai de Andréa, Totas Martins, de do Lubango, onde criou o famoso Kimbo do Soba. “Os meus pais vieram à procura dela.
