MEETING WITH STATE REP BRISCOE CAIN October 30, 2020
Economic Alliance Chairman Steve Cote and Chad met with District 128 State Representative Briscoe Cain. The discussion included policy issues facing the region in the 2021 Legislative Session, as well as potential access to the Capital building during the session.
COUNTY SUBREGIONAL STUDY November 4, 2020
Chad participated in the kickoff meeting as a member for the Steering Committee - Southeast Harris County Subregional Study. Committee members heard the overview of the study and discussed ongoing or planned transportation projects critical to the study’s overall planning and eventual recommendations.

Chad attended the Petrochemical Advisory Council Meeting − San Jacinto College Center for Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology. The advisory committee offers a conduit to industry and feedback on critical strategic questions in order to guide future decisions on how the school can better serve its

MEETING WITH STATE SENATOR LARRY TAYLOR December 4, 2020
Economic Alliance Chairman Steve Cote and Chad met with District 11 State Senator Larry Taylor. The discussion included Coastal Spine project legislation marked for the 2021 Legislative Session, as well as budgetary and educational issues.
MEETING WITH STATE REPRESENTATIVE GREG BONNEN December 15, 2020
Chad and other regional economic development organizations met with State Representative Greg Bonnen to discuss the 2021 session. The conversation centered primarily on the reauthorization of the Chapter 313 incentive and adjustments that will need to be made to it.
