Armando Rosas is tour guide with 7 years of experience in the tourism and eco­adventure. my work focuses on providing different kinds of activities such as birding, hiking, snorkeling, camping trips, Day Trips, multi day packages, and every outdoor adventure in panama. Baru Volcano Treks It is the highest point in Panama at an altitude of 3.475 meters and is located in the province of Chiriqui. The last eruption of this volcano poured a huge amount of lava that cooled to become a field of stone. This volcano is located south of the continental divide in the foothills of the Talamanca Mountains, west of the province of Chiriqui. This fertile area surrounded by highlands and rivers helped by caldera, Chiriqui Viejo, the towns of Volcan, Cerro Punta and Boquete west. The most recent eruption occurred around important 500 years. There are reports and evidence of a minor eruption around 1550. The Isthmus of Panama is so narrow that you can see the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea from the top. you can also see from the top towns of Boquete, Volcan, Cerro Punta, Rio Sereno, Bugaba, Punta Burica and southern Costa Rica. we can hike this trail in two ways could be full day this take around 10 hrs in full day hiking, and camping trip to the top of the volcano. NOTE: Hiking is a sport activity but a non competitive one. The most important part of this activity is the interaction that people have with the environment and the knowledge they have on the area; for example, people know about geography, flora, and fauna. Also, it is a way of healthy recreation.


Quetzals trail Walking by the Quetzals trail is a wonderful experience as nature surrounds you with its greenery, the sound of birds, and the caldera river. This trail also is inhabited by one of the birds that are mostly searched by birdwatchers. It is the resplendent quetzal from which about 225 species of birds have been found. This trail is located within the Baru Volcano National Park around the skirt land of Baru Volcano from Boquete and Cerro Punta. This complete tour can be done from Boquete to Cerro Punta or getting halfway into the camping area which is called the Respinguito which has an altitude of 2200 meters, returning to the place where the hiking began either from Boquete or form Cerro Punta. Walking down this trail takes about 5 to 6 hours, and it has a distance of 9 km and the altitude of the ranger station of Boquete 1800 m.a.s.l. and Cerro Punta is 2600 meters. International Park La Amistad It has volcanic formations, as shown by the presence of numerous volcanic tuffs. The park has a complicated orography with steep valleys, large reef cliffs and the highest peaks which are spectacular in the country, most notably the Cerro Fabrega (3.325masl), Cerro Itamut (3.279masl) and Cerro Echandi (3162 m). at PILA people have found about 100 species of mammals, 5 species of cats, 91 species of amphibians, 61 species of reptiles and 400 species of birds such as the Resplendent Quetzal and Three Wattled Bellbird. Located in Las Nubes, Cerro Punta. Birding Birding is just the watching and studying of birds. This activity is developed as leisure time activity, and it is based in recognizing the different species of birds, their appearances and their songs. This tour take about 4 hours. What to bring? Coffee Tour Boquete’s coffee is known as the best coffee around the world. Our coffee tour is located in Alto Jaramillo at an altitude of 1500 masl. finca la milagrosa is the name of the coffee farm that produces arabic coffee. One of the attractions is the coffee tour that shows 8 varieties of coffee plantations and the coffee process, roasting, and tasting. The time of the coffee tour is 3 hours; it is very informative and educational.


Whitewater River Rafting Experience: Our billingual guides have more than ten years of experience in order to maintain quality and professional control of our operations, we are one of the oldest rafting companies in Boquete. Since 2000 we have watched tremendous growth in the demand for rafting and have chosen to limit our size in order to maintain quality and personal control over our operation. Customer Safety: River rafting is an adventure sport that involves a certain degree of risk. Although we take every precaution to insure a safe and enjoyable trip. Guests should honestly and accurately evaluate their own fitness levels for any river trip. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Minimum ages may be adjusted according to water level. Our boats are a good option for families with children too young to paddle, or for those wanting to take in the scenery while the guide maneuvers your boat. What we provide, and what to bring: We provide you with transportation, equipment, lunch (depending upon which river is chosen), the best White Water Rafting guides you can find, and the best White Water Rafting experience ­ ever! However, we also suggest you bring your passport (as we'll travel close to the border), sun protection lotion, and a dry pair of clothes, water shoes and towels. All of your belongings can be kept safely in our van with our driver.


River Information: Family River ­ Chiriqui River: Chiriqui River, available for rafting all year, is suitable for families with young children or elderly adults. This river features class 1 and 2+, and clients will spend over two hours rafting. In this river, we provide you with snacks included in your price. Adventure River ­ Majagua River: Majagua River, available for rafting only during the rainy season, is suitable for adventurous children and adults. This river features class 1 and 2 rapids, making it suitable for an adventurous family. We provide you with snacks included in your price. Action River ­ Chiriqui Viejo River: Chiriqui Viejo river, available all year, is our most popular river. Suitable for teenagers, young adults, and adventurous middle agers ­ Chiriqui Viejo River has rapids class 2, and 3+. We provide lunch included in your price.

ZIP­LINE CANOPY TOUR This breathtaking 3.5 kilometers journey takes thrill seekers to 14 different platforms via 12 zip lines while flying through the jungle canopy. Suspended by sturdy harnesses, riders are whisked along the cables and they travel from one platform to the next, from where they can watch cascades, the magnificent Volcan Baru and exotic birds. Times: 08:00 a.m. y 1:00 p.m. Minimun age: 5 Duration: 4 hours. The adventure allows the brave at heart to experience the heights of the rainforest treetops while marveling at the beautiful scenery below. This is one of the top activities in Boquete and an incredible experience to enjoy while visiting the resort!


Half­day Hikes The Half­day Hikes could be in differents trails that takes around 3 to 4 hours out & back depending the physical conditions of the hikers. In these trails we will find a great biodiversity of Flora & Fauna, and also a beautiful waterfalls.
