Elisabeth: (laughs) “I see. It’s fun to pretend.”

All: “Pretend?”

a

Elisabeth: “Well Yes. Superheroes aren’t real but do you know who is?”

All: “Who?”

Elisabeth: “God is real. His power is very real and much more powerful than any superhero you can imagine. His power helps us fight our one true enemy. Do you know who that is.”

Carter: “Satan.”

Andrew: “The devil.”

Matthew: “He’s bad. I don’t like him.”

SUPERHEROES ARE PRETEND

Elisabeth: “Mean neither baby. The devil is bad. But it may be hard to understand because we can’t see him. But he’s real and causes people to do bad things everyday. We can’t listen to the devil though. We have to be good and righteous just like Jesus.”

All: “How?”

a

Knock on the door

Elisabeth: “Oh that’s right. Hold on babies. Those are your aunts. We made something for you that will help you understand. “

Elisabeth opens door

Elisabeth: “Hey There Ladies. Right on time. I was just about to explain what a real super power is.”

Michelle: “I love it. Hey there my little buddies. I brought Amaya with me.”

Elisabeth: “Hi. Sweetie.”

Ebony: “Hi. You boys having fun?”

All: “Yeah!”

Michelle: “Cool masks. “

a

Elisabeth: “The boys were asking how they can be like Christ.”

Ebony: “You all remember us discussing the fruits of the Spirit with you?”

Carter: “Oh yeah”

Matthew: “Love, Joy, Peace”

Andrew: “Temperance, Meekness, Goodness”

Carter: Faithfulness

Andrew: Gentleness

Matthew: Longsuffering

Michelle: “Exactly. The fruits of the Spirit teach us to be the way God wants us to be. They help us fight against sin and that wicked old devil."

Ebony: “Think of it as your very own superpower from God to fight against the devil.”

a

All: “Wow!”

Elisabeth: “Boys lets rip off those masks and put on these crowns to be like Christ our King.

All: Yes! We want to be like Jesus!

Boys take off their masks

Michelle & Ebony: “Here you go.”

Michelle: “Amaya, take your crown.”
