Interview with Kyle Pederson about A Vision Unfolding
After seven choirs from around the country commissioned Kyle Pederson to write an extended work centered around themes of social justice, he reached out to African American poet and songwriter Shanelle Gabriel, and together they determined to explore what our country has stood for in its best moments. The result is a genre-bending five-movement work that they hope will help us reach out beyond our comfort zone and find a better way of being in community. Moderately Difficult
