STALLION COLLECTION

2017

DearFor ourBreeders! stallions and their offspring, 2016 was a year of rewards. First of all, our fantastic sire Balou du Rouet, multimillionaire

from his offspring’s prize money, once again occupied the seventh place of the WBFSH world ranking. Sandro Hit was able to maintain and develop his very good position among the world elite of dressage sires, currently placed third. During the year, Sandro Hit’s offspring won two Olympic medals, which absolutely confirms his high-performance assessment. Our stallions Fürstenball, Vivaldi, Bordeaux, Foundation, Vitalis, Sir Donnerhall I and Diarado were amongst the leading group of all German stallions according to the German FN‘s 2016 predicted breeding value statistics. The use of famous and internationally successful sires reflects the success of our young stallions: For example, at the stallion performance tests, Chacfly and For Laubry were in the lead and in 2016, at the main German licensings no less than 44 descendants of Schockemöhle stallions were licensed. In 2016, stallions from Mühlen once again dominated the Oldenburg Elite Mare show in Rastede’s Schlosspark. In the Brillantring of twelve mares, seven of them were daughters of our stallions, including the winner Candy OLD by Sir Donnerhall I. Three of the four Oldenburg ridden horse champions descend from Foundation, Fürstenball and Sir Donnerhall I. As well as Festina PS and Sisters Act, national champions of the three and four-year-old ridden horses and the national champion of the six-year-old dressage horses De Luxe (by Don Primus), the German national championships also brought several other medal winners and high placed finalists, including Diarado’s son DJ and Chacoon Blue, vice-champions of the five and seven-year-old show-jumping horses. In total, three national champion titles went to descendants of Schockemöhle stallions. Our new entry, Vitalis, also attracted attention during the World Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Dutch Ermelo by becoming “Stallion of the Year” and convincingly winning the Burgpokal in Nuremberg. As a sire, he produced Victoria’s Secret, the World Champion of the five-year-olds. Furthermore, he triumphed with the winner of the Westphalian licencing, Valerde. In the Netherlands, Totilas, Bordeaux and Bretton Woods produced the three first-placed horses of the Pavo-Cup of five-year-old dressage horses and Vivaldi dominated the scene with the three first places of the six-year-old dressage horse championships. As always, we will be more than happy to help you with the marketing of your breeding production, should it be via our much-visited P.S. Foal Market online, at the branding dates or through the AOS auctions in Ankum, where the on-site service during the foals shows and branding dates for different associations here at Mühlen has been particularly successful on many occasions. Again, in 2016, the offspring of our stallions were particularly sought after, and often it is not only the descendants of the newcomers, but also the progeny of proven sires, which are particularly demanded. Whether it is concerning a young stallion or a proven sire, please feel free to address your questions to the trusted leaders of our stud farm, Christine Trompeter and Christoph Hinkel, masters in horse management, supported by their motivated team. We are looking forward to the breeding season 2017.

In brief: Modern jumping qualities!

T

op show jumping capital with international background and in a class of his own for style and aptitude. Action Blue presents himself with balance and conviction at the jump, showing plenty of scope and great technique and bascule. He demonstrated his capacities impressively at his 30-day-test: His jumping qualities were given scores of 10.0 and 9.5, which placed him at the top of the field of candidates. Since then, he has been victorious with highest marks in L level show-jumping classes. A pedigree full of performance genes: His sire Action Breaker is, at present, ranked as one of the best show jumping stallions worldwide. He was ridden successfully by Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in 2010 and in the Grand Prix of Aachen he finished third. His dam-sire Chacco-Blue was placed amongst the best at the German national championship finals and went on to win international Grand Prix, for example in NeumĂźnster 2012. In the Grand Prix of Aachen, he finished in third place. Chacco-Blue has sired, so far, 36 licensed sons and 260 advanced level/S level show jumpers, who have so far won more than 2 million euros and placed their father in eighth place in the 2016 WBFSH world ranking. ith the Individual Gold Medal at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Big Star and the British Nick Skelton crowned their exceptional career in international show-jumping sport. Already in 2012, they were Team Olympic winners in London, winners in the Grand-Prix of Hamburg and in 2013, winners of the Grand-Prix of Aachen and Rome. Big Star also achieved eleven consecutive clear rounds in Nation Cups. Although up to now he has only been used in breeding sparingly, Big Star has already produced with Big Star jr. and E-Star, two licensed sons. The oldest offspring from his time at stud in the Netherlands are successful at S level show-jumping. His pedigree is an explosion of international show-jumping expertise: His sire, Quick Star, brought onto the breeding track by Haus Schockemöhle, was known worldwide from the Hussar ride with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and won several Grand Prix. sire of international standing, and this at a relatively young age: In 2016, Balou du Rouet once again occupied 7th place in the WBFSH world show jumping ranking. So far, in Germany alone, 195 of Balou’s progeny are successful at advanced level/S level: the lifetime earnings of his descendants have already reached 2.6m euros. 51 of Balou‘s sons have been licensed, including the internationally successful stallion Horse Gym‘s Balzaci/Felix Haßmann (23 international victories, lifetime earnings over 320.000 euros), Bacardi OLD/Marc Bettinger (Sire of the World Lanaken 2015), Burberry/Jan Sprehe and Balloon/Shane Breen (IRL). Balance/Felix Haßmann, First Class van Eeckelghem/Daniel Deußer, Baloubet 4 and Brooklyn 17/Mario Stevens (2015 winner of Lanaken Grand Prix) are other examples of top horses by Balou. Year after year, Balou´s progeny enrich the finals of the five and six-year-old show jumpers at the German national championships with recognisable frequency. Just as “Dad” did so himself: Balou du Rouet won 19 show jumping competitions, won the finals of the German national championships, achieving the highest mark of 9,2 and has been successful in advanced level/S level many times. Breeding highlights of 2016 were Balousino as premium stallion of the OS licensing in Vechta, and Botakara, 2015 reserve champion of the OS Elite mare show and 2016 regional champion of fouryear-old show-jumpers in the Schlosspark of Rastede. Other successful progeny include Balou Fina/Volker and Petra Höltgen, Balouna Windana/Philipp Makowei, Balounito/Johannes Ehning, Barnebee/Holger Wulschner, Bijou de Balou/Michael Fritsch, Bond James Bond/Robert Bruhns, PBM Best of Balou FBW/Uwe Carstensen and Zalou du Rouet/Kathrin Müller. Balou‘s progeny, foals and sport horses, are much sought-after at auctions in Germany and abroad. With such a first-class pedigree, success is inevitable. His sire Baloubet du Rouet, three times World Cup winner, winner of individual Olympic Gold with Rodrigo Pessoa and sire to a multitude of international sport horses, is a producer beyond any doubt. The dam Georgia also produced the licensed stallion Cornet´s Balou, winner of the German national championships of five-year-old show jumpers in 2011. Dam sire Continue combines two of the most appreciated Holstein performance genes of Contender and Tin Rocco. Balou du Rouet: an international show jumping horse producer of extra class.

Bordeaux From championÜberschrift stallion to star producer n terms of genetics, Bordeaux is an absolute rarity, bred from one of the most successful dam lines in the world: The best of the Holstein, Oldenburg, Westphalia and Trakehner populations are united. Bordeaux himself is a “highflyer“ in the FN breeding valuation: With 154 points, he is part of the top group of dressage sires throughout Germany. In 2015 and 2016, he was the father of many of the finalists of the German National Championships of five-year old dressage horses. In 2015, his daughter Best of All won the British five-year-old dressage horse championships and the licensed stallion Ferdeaux was second in the five-year old Pavo-Cup in the Netherlands. The four-year old Pavo-Cup also went to one of Bordeaux‘ daughters, Guadeloupe-Beau. In 2016, Guadeloupe-Beau wasextsecond in the Pavo-Cup and bronze medal winner at the World Championships of five-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo (NED). Bordeaux also produced in 2016, with the black colt Le Formidable, the best dressage foal in the Netherlands. Bordeaux and his Unterschrift progeny are characterized by a lot of charm, a modern riding horse type, first-class movement and natural rideability. He won his licensing and his performance test in the Netherlands and was highly placed in the final of the Pavo-Cup in 2010 (comparable to the German national championships). In 2012, ridden by Eva Möller, he was fourth in the finals of the World Championships of six-yearold dressage horses in Verden. In the winter of 2012/13 he qualified, as a result of his outstanding wins at stallion competitions around the Netherlands, for the finals of his age group in s‘Hertogenbosch. He was the favourite and won the competition with a clear margin. In 2014, he won international competitions up to Prix St. Georges; since he has been victorious in Grand Prix, and for example highly placed at the Louisdor-Preis in Frankfurt in 2016. Bordeaux dominated championship and auction events from the beginning: At the Oldenburg championships in Rastede in 2013, Biscaya OLD, Bluetooth and Bella Laguna OLD dominated the first places, and shortly afterwards, Biscaya OLD was Vice National German Champion in Warendorf, where Bluetooth was also high placed in the final, and in autumn Biscaya was sold for a record price (300.000 euros) at the Oldenburg autumn auction in Vechta. In 2014, Heide Queen OLD was Oldenburg Vice Champion in Rastede. From his first crops, 16 highly-regarded sons have already been licensed. hacfly is our special debutant of the 2017 breeding season: With the impressive and unprecedented final score of 9,49, this elegant, athletically built chestnut finished his 50-day-test in Adelheidsdorf in November 2015. For six individual criteria, the maximum mark of 10 was given. His rideability was consistently marked with 9,5 from the judges and the test rider. Before that, Chacfly was several times victorious in show-jumping classes. His incredible capacities on courses are clearly sketched out with the extraordinary performance pedigree: The sire Chacco-Blue, in the meantime sire of many internationally successful show jumping horses, was victorious in international Grand Prix’s, among others in Neumünster 2012 the third place in Aachen, before leaving the scene far too early. Chacco-Blue sired more than 30 licensed sons and 183 advanced level/S level show jumpers, who have so far won more than 1,31 million euros and placed their father in tenth place in the 2015 WBFSH world ranking. C

hacoon Blue is an impressive, well put together and lightly built show jumping specialist in a beautiful grey coat, bred from the outstanding dam line of the Olympic winner Askan. Well-defined lines and a true affinity for performance are prominent characteristics of this top stallion. His canter and the quality of his jump from the perspective of scope, manner and leg technique are excellent. His potential seems almost limitless. In 2014, he finished his 30-day-test in Schlieckau as one of the three equal jumping winners with the sensational jumping biased end score of 9.40. For free jumping, with his jumping pre-disposition and his character, he earned the maximum mark of 10.0. Chacoon Blue made a fantastic sporting debut with numerous winnings and high placings in A, L and M show-jumping classes, was then the impressive winner of the Dobrock show jumping championships in 2015 and, with convincing courses every day of the competition, placed participant and finalist at the German national championships of the six-year-old show jumping horses. He effortlessly succeeded the leap into higher classes: He has already won S level show-jumping competitions and was second at the Young Horse Championship of seven-year-olds in Warendorf at S** level. In 2016, Chacoon Blue produced his first crop of foals, who were highly appreciated in every respect: Large foals with modern characters and high-quality paces. In 2016, Chacoon Blue was among the most used show-jumping stallions in Germany. The sire Chacco-Blue, in the meantime sire of many internationally successful show jumping horses, was victorious in international Grand Prix’s, among others in Neumünster 2012 and the third place in Aachen, before leaving the scene far too early. Chacco-Blue sired more than 30 licensed sons and 183 advanced level/S level show jumpers, who have so far won more than 1,31 million euros and placed their father in 8th place in the 2016 WBFSH ranking. His dam sire Cartoon, only at stud for a short time whilst being active in sport, has sired a higher than average number of successful advanced level/S level horses for the little time he was standing. The well-known performance sires Domino, Winston, Almhügel III and Agram appear in previous generations of the pedigree. Chacoon Blue: The follower of his great father! Approved for:

Don De Niro Ultra-modern son of De Niro legant nobleman with a fine-cut silhouette, who was able to present himself in the best way at every appearance as premium stallion of the 2016 Mecklenburg licensing. All three paces are orientated towards the very best: Loose and dynamic in trot, powerfully transmitted from rear to front, constantly uphill with a lot of ground cover in his energetic canter, and his diligent and ground-covering walk is also very good. For years, his sire De Niro has been the uncontestable number 1 of the WBFSH world ranking of dressage horse producers. He was Grand-Prix winner, German champion of the Professional Riders with Dolf-Dietram Keller and winner of the German dressage derby in Hamburg-Klein Flottbek. or Romance II was premium stallion at the 2015 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, on the brink of perfection in type and model: This is what a modern dressage horse looks like! His three gaits are powerfully transmitted, a cadenced walk with diligence and ground cover, a trot with enormous elastic force, actively repeated from the hindquarters with a lot of freedom of the shoulders, and an uphill canter at each stage covering a lot of ground. For Romance II confirmed this high evaluation at his 14-day-test in Schlieckau in spring 2016. All five stallions of the first generations - Fürst Romancier, Sir Donnerhall I, Don Schufro, Sandro and Gepard - belonged to the Schockemöhle Breeding Station. For Romance II is the full brother to the licensing and performance test winner and top price For Romance I and to the elite show winner, German national champion and PSI top price Fasine as well as half- brother to the 2015 Mecklenburg licensing winner, Feinrich. Noticeable is the triple inbreeding to the Oldenburg “emblem“ Donnerhall and the characterizing half-blood Sandro in the previous generations. Sire Fürst Romancier was fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and at the German national championships. His progeny are extremely successful in elementary/novice classes and have straightaway put Fürst Romancier in the top group of the FN breeding value estimation index. Fürstenball A phenomenon equally in breeding and sport n a congruence never seen before, Fürstenball sets a new standard in his own career as well as in his heredity. He won his licensing and stallion performance test, was regional and national champion of Germany, sire of champion stallions, winner of S level dressage classes, 2013 VTV stallion of the year, and number 1 of the FN breeding valuation throughout Germany in 2015 - it is hard to do better at such a young age! With his first crop, Fürstenball had already produced the champion stallion and top price (400.000 euros) of the 2012 Oldenburg Stallion Days, Follow Me. In 2016, he produced with Fürst Fabrice the champion (300.000 euros) and also reserve champion (220.000 euros) in Vechta. Up to now, 43 sons of Fürstenball have been licensed, often awarded with premiums and some of them have sold for record prices. In 2014, three of the four Oldenburg regional champions were by Fürstenball. Fürstenball‘s daughter Fünf Sterne managed an absolutely sensational double success: She not only won the Oldenburg regional Ridden Horse championship but also won the Brillantring of the Oldenburg Elite mare show. A daughter of Fürstenball, Amelie, was placed second. In 2015, another two Fürstenball daughters took once again the first and second place of the Oldenburg Brillantring in Rastede with Fiesta Danza and Flora de Mariposa. Flora de Mariposa and Fiesta Danza were respectively Champion and Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg Championships and second and third at the German national Championships. In 2016, Flora de Mariposa successfully defended her national title. In 2015, Fior won the four-year-old stallion Oldenburg Championships, was third at Warendorf and was highly-priced at the PSI stallion auction. Fürsten-Look was the outstanding Hanoverian Champion and German national champion of the four-year-old stallions as well as winner of the main premium. ressage favourite for high demands: His first-class type, clearly distinguishable in the image of his famous great-grand-sire Jazz, and three equally good paces make him highly desirable. He confidently dominated his 14-day-test in Schlieckau in spring 2016. His sire Fürst Romancier was fourth at the dressage Young Horse World Championships and German national championships, received the dressage-emphasized Ia-main premium and has produced, up to now, 27 licensed stallions, including the double licensing winner For Romance I, and 55 state premium mares in various breeding regions. A special showpiece is his daughter St. Pr. St. Fasine, full sister to For Romance I and II, winner of the 2012 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show as well as German national champion and PSI top price in 2015. His dam Borendy was Reserve champion of the stud book registration competition in the province of Gelderland and made it to the finals of her age group. Her sire, Painted Black, son of the legendary Gribaldi, was competed by Hans Peter Minderhoud and continued his career with Anky van Grunsven finishing Vice World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses in Verden. He was subsequently internationally successful at Grand Prix level and World Cup winner. His grand-dam Orendy produced the much soughtafter sire Zhivago and numerous Grand Prix horses. Her full sister Trendy is the dam of the sires Charmeur and Edelman. Jazz in the third generation won international Grand Prix for the Netherlands with Tineke Bartels and Kirsten Beckers and was several-times part of the Dutch dressage team. Honoured with the predicate “keur“ and “preferent“ for his breeding performances, in 2006 he was named KWPN Horse of the Year in the Netherlands. In 2008, Jazz led the dressage WBFSH ranking for the first time and currently occupies third place. Every mare in his pedigree has produced horses up to Grand Prix level. Fürst Jazz represents the Dutch dam line 100, which produced, among others, the popular sires Estados, Grenoble, Van Gogh and Zuidenwind and is regarded as one of the surest dam lines of the Netherlands. ery few stallions have managed to become a legend during their lifetime. Sandro Hit is therefore almost unique and his production of epochal importance in world dressage horse breeding. His heredity is full of superlatives never seen before: Top prices at auctions from foals up to ridden horses, 186 licensed stallions, amongst them several champion stallions, championships winners and numerous Grand Prix winners. And 2016 was another special year in the life of this production hero: He crowned his breeding performances, that so far were already unique in every regard, with two Olympians in Brazilian Rio de Janeiro, who both won precious metal. With Dorothee Schneider, Showtime FRH was part of the German gold-medal team in dressage, after he became German Champion in the Grand-Prix freestyle and vice-champion in the Grand-Prix Special. he significant lined Stakkatol embodies jumping qualities in truly rare concentration: His scope, caution and attitude can only accurately be described with superlatives. He was successful in show jumping classes. Later on, he won S level show jumping classes, but unfortunately retired very early from sport events because of an injury. After several years of use on Lewitz stud‘s own mares, Stakkatol is now officially listed in the stallion catalogue thanks to his, in every respect, outstanding breeding results. This is how he created a very convincing business card and was strongly represented at the last German national championships with numerous extremely successful offspring. The oldest of them were already victorious and high placed in striking presence in S level show jumping classes. His daughter Stalognia was the absolute top price of the 2015 PSI auction at 1.7 million euros, after the highly placed German national championship finalist Stalando, also a son of Stakkatol, was a PSI star horse in 2014. Stalognia is also the dam of the stallion based in Sweden, Kannatol. His sire Stakkato dominated the FN show jumping breeding valuation from 2001 to 2012. Ridden by Eva Bitter, Stakkato won the 1998 Hanoverian show jumping championships at the Dobrock competition and the German national championships in Warendorf. In 2003 as well as 2010 the duo took the German Champion title in show jumping in the class for ladies, the 2004 Vice Champion title and competed successfully for Germany in Nations Cups. In 2007, he was “Hanoverian stallion of the year“. His dam Caroll was also successful with Sören von Rönne up to S level classes. She is a daughter of Capitol I who became “Lord Privy Seal“ of the Cottage Son xx-line in Holstein and was the concept of value for show jumping horses with scope and outstanding bascule. Early on, his offspring were successful on a broad front in international sport; 215 of them had success at S level show jumping alone. His grand-dam Lolita was herself successful at M level show jumping and produced various successful show jumping horses. Sir Heinrich OLD became VTV dressage stallion of the year in Vechta. His licensed son Sir Olli OLD was third at the World Championships of six-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo (NED) and was, with the knockdown price of 370.000 euros, the most expensive auction horse in Vechta. So far 104 descendants have been successful in dressage at S level – a totally unique result.

Totilas Three times World Champion, three times world record holder

T

otilas, already a living legend, led the dressage sport to a new and until then, unknown popularity: He alone set three world records, records that were only broken again by him. It took him and Edward Gal only two years to get all the possible titles one could get, twice Individual Gold and one Team Gold at the World Equestrian Games 2010, Team and Individual Gold Medal at the European Championships in Windsor, winner of the World Cup 2010, and in 2011, the best horse of the German Silver Medal Team with Matthias-Alexander Rath. At the German Championships in 2012, he won the Silver Medal in the GP Special and the Kür. Looking at it from the breeding perspective, Totilas continuously sets new records: In 2012, he produced the most expensive foal of all time, Total Recall (knockdown price 200.000 euros) at the foal auction in Vechta. Total Ideal cost 105.000 euros at the Oldenburg Summer Mixed Sales and Tout le Monde was sold for 90.000 euros at the Oldenburg elite foal auction in 2011. Since then, 20 of his sons have been licensed, including Toto Jr. who was sold for a top price at the Hanoverian Stallion Market in Verden in 2013 at 100.000 euros. In 2016, he won the Pavo-Cup of five-year-old dressage horses in the Netherlands. Governor and Top Gear were both Reserve Champions of their licensings and Talismann (knockdown price 360.000 euros) was ranked in the Verden premium lot in 2014. In 2015, his daughter True Love OLD was 2016 Ic Brillantring mare at the Oldenburg elite mare show and highly placed at the German national championships. In 2016, after winning the qualifier to the final, she became vice-champion of Germany. His offspring are of strong character and highly sought-after for dressage sport. They convince through excellent rideability and are very successful in basic and young horse competitions. In 2014, Totilas was never beaten in his performances at Kapellen/ BEL, Wiesbaden, Perl-Borg and Aachen and was also part of the German Nation‘s Cup winning team. Totilas‘ sire Gribaldi was Trakehner Champion Stallion, Trakehner Sire of the Year 2008 and internationally successful with Edward Gal. Totilas: a living legend! Co-owner: Approved for:

Dressage potential of an exceptional class for the highest international demands

T

op Gear was the outstanding Reserve Champion of the 2014 Oldenburg licensing. Unusually brilliant in type, coupled with an excellent limb structure and a large frame, a correct base and an immaculate exterior. Under saddle, he shines with three firstclass gaits, transmitted from a swinging back, and is literally captivating. The 30-day-test in Schlieckau was very successful, Top Gear finished in the top group of the strong field of candidates with outstanding marks (including 10.0 for his character and 9.75 from the test rider). Meanwhile, he has won dressage competitions. The progeny of his first crop of foals were awarded premium almost without exception. They convince with big lines, a modern type and outstanding movement capacities. The sire Totilas has revolutionized the dressage sport over the last few years. He became double European Champion in Windsor in 2009, won three Gold Medals at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington in 2010 and set several world records. On the breeding front, from his first crops of foals, he has so far sired 20 licensed sons, of which several have been awarded premium. Top Gear: Totilas and Donnerhall in an ideal blood combination! Vitalis At a young age, an exceptional Überschrift sire - sought-after world wide

H

e came, saw and conquered! In 2016, Vitalis made his breeding and sport debut at our stud. At the World Championships of young dressage horses in Ermelo (NED), he set milestones: He won the Intermédiaire I and was particularly distinguished as “Stallion of the Year”, while his daughter Victoria’s Secret was awarded the title of World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses. He sovereignly qualified for the Nuremberg Burgpokal with Isabel Freese, where he made a clear win in the preliminary class as well as the final in Frankfurt. And matching his sport reputation, he also produced with Valverde, the dressage winner of the Westphalian licensing 2016. The very modern and big moving Vitalis has been in the fast lane for years. He was himself first reserve champion of ext the main NRW licensing in 2009, dominated the dressage index of his stallion performance test in 2010 in Warendorf and, at an Unterschrift early age, notched up wins and placings in dressage horse classes, amongst others at the Dutch stallion championships and at the World Championships of five- and six-year-old dressage horses. Shortly after he dominated the US championship in his age-group. With record marks of 10.0 for trot and 9.8 for canter, he was clearly ahead of the other competitors. With his first crops, Vitalis caused a stir: In Rhineland in 2014, his daughter Virginia K was the winner of the elite show and at the Westphalian Week, all five of the three-year-old mare and gelding finalists were offspring of Vitalis. At the autumn elite auction in Münster-Handorf, the four star horses were offspring of Vitalis. The two highest offers were 200.000 euros. So far, 16 of his sons have been licensed, including several premium stallions and top prices. His daughter Victoria‘s Secret was German national champion of four-year-old mares and geldings in 2015, two other descendants of Vitalis also reached the final and his daughter Vienna was at the top of the Westphalian elite mare show. In 2016, the licensed Villeneuve won the bronze medal at the German national championships of the four-year-old stallions.

In 2015 and 2016, his son Fenix won the five and six-year-old Pavo-Cup in the Netherlands. The breeding season commences on January, 1st 2017 and ends on July, 31st 2017. Ordering semen Please place your order by telephone (0049(0)5492960-100), fax or using the semen order form on the internet (www. schockemoehle.com) by 10 a.m. at the latest! The following information should be provided in conjunction with semen orders: - Stallion's name - Name and full address of the mare's owner - Exact shipping address, if different from the mare owner's address - Mare's details (name, UELN, copy of breeding) (the semen which is supplied may only be used to inseminate the mare specified in the order) - Details of the inseminating veterinarian - Breeding association membership number so that we can register the mare's insemination (Breeder’s certificates must be sent at the beginning of the breeding season) Information: Stallions, and particularly young stallions who are in their first covering year, will only be registered in the first-class stallion book after completing and passing their stallion performance test. Only then is the full registration of the foal possible. If the stallion cannot be registered in the first-class stallion book, the breeding associations will only issue birth certificates. Availability semen can be sent every day, except on Sundays and bank holidays (restricted to regional sending). However, you can collect the semen every day. For the most popular stallions, the stallion station reserves the right to limit the delivery of semen per heat/ mare and to give priority to using the semen for inseminating the mares at the service station in Mühlen. In Germany, we send fresh semen, as a matter of priority. However, if a stallion becomes unavailable at short notice during the breeding season for any particular reason (competition, sickness etc.), we will offer you frozen semen, if possible, or an alternative stallion of your choice. In this case, you will only be required to pay the stud fee of the last stallion used. A liability for transport damages is excluded. Complaints must be reported the next day, otherwise, the transport will be invoiced Embryo transfer If you choose embryo transfer, this must be declared before the first order. Please remember that embryo transfers are subject to payment of the stud fee in respect of every flushed-out embryo. A discount will be granted if several embryos are flushed out. The embryo flushing must obligatorily be documented. The presentation of the flushing log (list of all flushings, even when no embryo is collected, and the details of the receiving mares) must be sent to us before the 1.10. Payment The stud fee is due prior to the first insemination. The semen shipping costs shall be borne by the breeder and may be requested in advance. 70 |

The breeder's certificate will not be issued or forwarded to the association until payment of the stud fee has been effected. Credit balance rules If the mare does not conceive or resorbs, we will invoice half of the stud fee in the following year (except for stallions that are exclusively available for frozen semen, such as Big Star, Kannan etc.), subject to veterinarian confirmation of the mare not being in foal being provided by 1st December. Without this confirmation, we are not able to issue a credit note. Mares which are inseminated for the first time after 1 July and do not conceive will be fully exempted from the stud fee in the following year. Please remember that veterinary confirmation of the mare not being in foal must also be provided in this case by 1 December. The credit balance is bound to the person and to the stallion. Changes are only possible after prior agreement. Stud fees are non-reimbursable. Agreed stud fee discounts, credit notes from the previous year and vouchers cannot be combined. Livery at the stallion station Mares will be stabled in Mühlen at the risk and expense of the owner. Our daily livery charge is € 10.00 for mares and € 12.00 for mares and foals. If a shavings stable is required, we invoice € 15.00 per day.

Artificial insemination and veterinary treatments (cervical swabs, gynecological examinations etc.) will be performed by the stud veterinarian and will be invoiced separately. Mares will only be inseminated after a follicle check by the stud veterinarian. Please remember that all mares must have a cervical swab in advance, except for 3-year-old maiden mares and fillies. Frozen semen Frozen semen will be invoiced per mare and includes up to two insemination doses. After this, another stud fee is due. The purchase of individual doses is not possible. One insemination dose will be delivered per heat. Before the frozen semen is sent, a user agreement for the frozen semen must be sent to us by fax or email, otherwise the shipment cannot take place. The frozen semen remains the property of the Paul Schockemöhle stallion station (Paul Schockemöhle Hengsthaltung GmbH). In case of non-use, the semen must be sent back. The semen must not be passed on to third parties or be used on other mares. If the mare owner carries out an unauthorized use of the frozen semen, a fine of € 2500.00 will be imposed without exception, in addition to all outstanding receivables. The delivered containers, which are the property of the Paul Schockemöhle stallion station (Deckstation Paul Schockemöhle Hengsthaltung GmbH), must be sent back to the station within seven calendar days. Otherwise, from the eighth calendar day, a fee of € 25.00 per day will be invoiced. The non-return or loss of the container will be charged at the full rate. If the private container of the breeder is used, the Schockemöhle station assumes no liability. The proof of use documents included with delivery, filled in and signed by the veterinarian/insemination technician, as well as the empty straws, have to be sent back to us immediately (by the 01.10 at the latest).
