This Water-Based Gloss Medium can be used as a gloss finishing varnish and as an additive to the paint. When used as a finishing varnish, it produces a strong, protective, tack-free, clear film.
Used as a final varnish over a dried, well-cured acrylic painting when a flat, matt or very low sheen is required. Most suitable as a protective coating particularly over large works exposed to damage or paintings that would be improved by eliminating unbalanced glossy highlights. It is waterbased and may appear slightly milky whilst wet but dries clear.
The purpose of this medium is to spread large volumes of transparent colour over selected areas while maintaining a controlled paint viscosity.
Acrylic Painting Medium is a pure acrylic binder used in formulating Acrylic Colours and acts as the principal paint “dilutant” when not using water. Water may be used with the colours. Unlike water, diluting with this medium will not reduct the binding capacity.

This medium is a heavy-bodied paint, free of colour pigmentation (it isn’t a gel). It is most valuable for brush stroke and impasto techniques, particularly when heavy built-up areas of colour are required.
Gel Medium is to act as a clear transparent colour extender or as a transparent impasto for thick 3-dimensional brush and knife applications. It’s viscous non-spreading consistency, enables the artist to apply thick and heavily defined brushstrokes. Larger sizes available on request. (1, 4 and 10 litre)
Derivan Pouring Medium is a clear product that when applied to a surface, or as a paint additive, will automatically spread and create a smooth, glossy finish with minimal surface texture. It is ideal for high gloss thick varnishing, pouring and marbling techniques. Apply with a brush, palette knife or Refillables containers. Ideal for card making.

Clear Sealer can be used as a primer if you want to paint a design on wood leaving the natural grain revealed. It can also be used on glass, ceramics, terracotta pots and new metal. For porous surfaces such as wood, terracotta pots, unfired ceramics, etc. apply diluted with up to 1 part water to 2 parts Sealer.

Drying Retarder will slow the evaporation of water from the paint. Add a small amount (approx 5% retarder) to your paint.This will help to keep the your paper from sticking to the plate when printing and enable you to work with your masterpiece for an extended time.
