As the crown jewel of the National Park lodges, its stunning interior design and architecture were specifically designed to highlight its natural surroundings, which include Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Glacier Point. The hotel includes 97 rooms, most of which range in size from 205 to 275 square feet. Four hotel parlors can combine with rooms to create luxuriously appointed suites with The Ahwahnee’s best views. Park visitors may also stay in one of the 24 guest cottages, which range in size from 275 to 300 square feet. The Ahwahnee Dining Room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is where The Bracebridge Dinner performance has been held since 1929. The lodge also offers a gift shop with a focus on local artisans, and a decadent sweet shop. Seating is abundant throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows line its expansive Great Lounge; the Winter Club and Mural Rooms offer more spots to stop. The Colonial Room, Tresidder Room, and Tudor Lounge are private meeting places. The Ahwahnee Bar overlooks a wrap-around terrace that also encircles a heated outdoor swimming pool. The mountainous grandeur of The Ahwahnee offers a perfect balance of history, hospitality, and elegance.
