You will then have a chance to “make your own” BMW with their interactive facility. Afterwards we’ll have lunch at the beautiful Olympia Park, used in the 1972 Summer Olympics. Next take a short ride to the Allianz Arena where we will have a behind the scene tour of this one of a kind soccer stadium.

Dachau Concentration Camp

Not recommended for children under the age of 12; children under 12 are not permitted to view the documentary film.

Griesbräu Brewery

Join us on this unique, hands-on tour of the Griesbräu Brewery. We’ll take you behind the scenes of how various types of beers are brewed: Helles, Dunkel & Weissbier, along with Greisbräu’s very own beer schnapps. There will also be time to relax and enjoy the beer hall, taking in the true Bavarian experience.

Crystal World & Innsbruck City

Enjoy the beautiful Alpine scenery as your guide shares history and local folklore. In the morning you will visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, Austria. Take time to explore the eclectic and fascinating multimedia gallery that has become one of Tirol’s most popular attractions. Shop and enjoy works of art from Salvador Dali, Andre Heller and Andy Warhol. Next you will go to the city center of Innsbruck, the Hapsburgs capitol of Tirol and home of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics. There will be free time for lunch, sightseeing and shopping afterwards.

Bavarian Brotzeit/Ettal Tour

Explore the local cheese factory where you will discover how the local farmers make cheese & other dairy products and receive a guided tour of the facility. Then you will have a chance to try a traditional Bavarian Meal, “Bavarian Brotzeit.” Next walk to the Ettal Monastery for a viewing of the Basilica and purchase some of the Monks’ famous beers and liqueurs. Food not included.

Cake by the Lake/Bobsled Hike

We will take a short hike from the hotel to the Reissersee Lake, a site used in the 1936 Winter Olympics. A guide will provide you with information about the area. There is an opportunity for a lakeside stroll, with great views of the mountain reflections on the lake and a possible trek through the old bobsled course. Afterward we will stop at the Reissersee Cafe for cake. Don’t forget your camera! Cake not included in price.

Horse & Carriage Rides

of Munich past. You are then free for lunch and to explore the area on your own.

THE ZUGSPITZE: A Peak Experience Visit Germany’s tallest mountain peak with or without skis! The summit view at 2,962 meters is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. One ticket price allows access to the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn, Eibsee-Seilbahn, and Gletscherbahn for one trip up and one trip down. Tickets sold at Alpine Adventures are valid any day of the season. Because tickets are non-refundable, we suggest buying tickets the morning of your adventure rather than purchasing the tickets in advance. There are three options for reaching the summit: 1: Take the cog wheel train from the Eibsee once an hour from 0845 - 1445. Once you arrive at the Sonn Alpin (middle station) the Gletscherbahn cable car will take you to the top every 15-30 minutes. 2: Take the Eibsee- Seilbahn (cable car) which departs every 20-30 minutes from the Eibsee to the top station. A nice adventure is to take

the train up and the cable car down. The Bayerische Zugspitzbahn departs from locations other than Lake Eibsee and is included in the Zugspitze ticket price. The closest stop to Edelweiss Resort is the Kreuzeck/ Alpspitze station. 3: To reach the train stop by foot: Exit the main lobby and head towards the righthand side of the property towards the mountains. Exit the turnstile, take a left onto Kruezeckbahnstraße and follow it towards the mountains. The train stop (blue train) is between the Kruezeckbahn and Alpspitzebahn at the tracks. It should take approximately 20 minutes to reach this stop from the hotel. The train departs from this location every hour between 0824 1424 daily. On occasion, visitors must switch trains in Grainau, listen for instructions in English if it is necessary. The train then continues to the Eibsee and then the Zugspitzplatt. To reach the summit you will need to take an additional cable car.
