Getting to Taymount From Cockermouth travel along Gote Road, passing Papcastle and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A594 towards Maryport. After approximately 1 mile turn right where signposted towards Tallentire. Follow the road for approximately 1.5 miles; upon entering Tallentire enter the one-way system and turn right before The Bush Inn. Continue along the road, around the next right hand bend, and you will find Taymount immediately on the right hand side, shortly after the turning for Fernleigh Close.
