NO EXTENSION No talks of registration extension says Comelec

Lawyer Gay Enumerables, assistant director of the Commission on Election-Davao (Comelec-Davao), reminded Dabawenyos of the deadline of registration for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) on January 31, 2023.

Enumerables also said that they have not yet received a memo from the

Comelec central office extending the registration.

“We heard nga naay mga gusto mag extend but as of now January 31 ang among deadline,” she said over Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Tuesday.

She said several have registered already in Davao City since January this year.

She also said Davao City’s Third District has the highest number of registrants.
