It’s a case of teachers being educated by the Education Secretary.

Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte continued to slam the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT Teachers) Representative France Castro after she asserted that the Department of Education (DepEd), which is run by the vice president, has been distracting people from talking about important educational issues.

“I have never claimed to be anything — but for the past eight months, the Department of Education has made strides in addressing the problems burdening our learners and education personnel. Allow me to educate ACT Teachers because the group is obvious- ly uninformed if not deliberately paying no attention to the developments happening within the sector. With the help of our partners, the Department has successfully reopened schools and restarted onsite learning — a decision that was vehemently opposed and criticized
