La lectura abre las puertas del conocimiento y a la imaginación. Es una ventana abierta a otros mundos, a otras vidas, a realidades inimaginables. Una forma de viajar desde y hacia cualquier lugar, de incentivar la comunicación y la socialización. Por eso Paradores, en colaboración con el Instituto Cervantes y Radio Nacional de España, presenta la iniciativa Veladas Literarias, bocados de poesía, novela, ensayo, literatura de viajes o gastronómica expresada a viva voz, en diálogo o con música, que se realizarán a lo largo de 2022 en diferentes Paradores.
Veladas Literarias nace resultado de la vocación de estas tres entidades de promover cultura de alta calidad y de dar espacio a autores y autoras jóvenes en proyección y que, por su procedencia o tema, estén vinculados a la región. Paradores ofrecerá un espacio único y acogedor en el que autores y lectores se interrelacionen en un ámbito distinto, más cercano y distendido, y así conocer al autor y su obra a través de una entrevista, la lectura de fragmentos, la interpretación de textos musicalizados o el intercambio de opiniones y comentarios sobre detalles de la obra. Asociado al acto, los lectores podrán quedarse a cenar con los escritores y disfrutar de una bonita estancia cultural en nuestros establecimientos: en definitiva, crear una experiencia cultural y artística distinta y única. Con esto no sólo se pretende promover a nuevos valores literarios, sino también dinamizar y dar acceso a la cultura en el ámbito local, con el fin de desarrollar actividades en municipios españoles del interior Es importante diversificar y generar actividades culturales que atraigan a los visitantes a los destinos del interior durante todas las épocas del año.
En Paradores nos sentimos dichosos de esta alianza con el Instituto Cervantes y Radio Nacional de España confiados en que estas Veladas Literarias ofrecerán sorpresas muy gratas a lo largo de este 2022.

Reading opens the doors of knowledge and imagination. It is an open window to other worlds, to other lives, to unimaginable realities. It is a way of traveling to and from any place, of encouraging communication and socialization. That is why Paradores, in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute and Radio Nacional de España, presents the Literary Evenings initiative, a series of poetry, novels, essays, travel, or gastronomic literature expressed orally, in dialogue or with music, which will take place throughout 2022 at different Paradores. Literary Evenings is the result of the vocation of these three entities to promote high-quality culture and to give space to young authors who, due to their origin or subject matter, are linked to the region. Paradores will offer a unique and welcoming space in which authors and readers can interact and get to know each other in a different, closer, and more relaxed environment, allowing to get to know authors and their work through an interview, read fragments, interpret texts set to music or exchange opinions and comment on details of the oeuvre. As a part of the event, readers could stay for dinner with the writers and enjoy a nice cultural stay in our establishments: in short, to create a different and unique cultural and artistic experience. The aim is not only to promote new literary talents but also to dynamize and give access to culture at a local level, in order to develop activities in inland Spanish municipalities. It is important to diversify and promote cultural activities that attract visitors to hinterland destinations throughout the year. At Paradores we are delighted with this alliance with the Cervantes Institute and Radio Nacional de España, confident that these Literary Evenings will offer some very pleasant surprises throughout 2022.
