REFLECTIONS

Photography, for me is so much more than a gift or a vocation, it has more to do with passion.

I still remember, when I was around 11, 12 years old, that I used to takepictures of my parents during our holidays, always trying to find a moment that was worth remembering. Photography for me is exactly that: the capture of a moment that goes beyond its own time. It is the memory of an emotion or a moment, it is that fraction of a second when the world actually stops. That is the moment I want to frame. In my work as a photographer, I am always looking for that one special framethat makes us relive that moment, that experience, that feeling.

And even greater than my passion for capturing theses moments, is my passion for horses. My relationship with horses comes from an early age. I started riding when Iwas about 4 years old, and since then, they have been the ones who have always managed to give me the greatest feelings. They are friends, confidents, partners and teachers. I believe that the bond between the horses and their riders is magical, and it is this magic that I try to findin my every shot. May it be on the jumping arena, during the flat work, handwalking or during that tight hug or kiss. While there is magic I just wantto keep on shooting.
