Miracle by the Bay

Bayou Golf Club in Largo was the

setting for an awesome opportunity to meet Matthew Walker, the Executive Director of the “Miracle By The Bay”, a charity organization that is focused on highlighting programs for individuals with a variety of disabilities. This Golf Tournament focused on raising funds for a baseball field dedicated to allowing those with disabilities to enjoy America’s favorite past time. The Golf Central Team was competitive, winning a “Closest to the Pin” contest and the “Long Drive” for women. But - we didn’t bring home any hardware for lowest score. The Tournament raised thousands of dollars to help support the organization, while providing an educational opportunity focused on enhancing the visibility of the charity’s mission. Pine Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

50 ml Organika vodka 5-7 ml pine cone jam 2-3 drops of Angostura bitter (or similar)

How to prepare:

1) Mix all the ingredients in a mixing glass⠀without ice (so that the jam dissolves), 2) Add ice and mix again, 3) Pour into an old fashioned glass, 4) Garnish with a pine cone (you can find those in a jar of pine cone jam) and a lighted sprig of rosemary. Green Night

Ingredients:

50 ml Organika Life vodka 15 gr lime 15 gr orange 15 gr fresh cucumber 5 ml thyme syrup

How to prepare:

1) Crush lime, cucumber, and orange to make the ingredients juice, 2) Mix all the ingredients in a mixing glass without ice, 3) Add ice and mix again, 4) Strain into an old fashioned glass, 5) Garnish with a cucumber or orange slice, if desired.

White Truffle Sour

Ingredients:

60 ml Organika Truffle vodka 30 ml lemon juice 20 ml sugar syrup 15 ml egg white

How to prepare:

1) Add ice to the shaker, 2) Add all the ingredients, 3) Shake and mix thoroughly until frothy, 4) Pour into a glass (no ice), 5) Garnish with a thin slice of truffle, if desired.
