presented by Circle K returned to Timuquana Country Club for second year in early October. Quickly becoming one of the “must-play” events for most of the players on the PGA Tour Champions, taking on the classic 1923 Donald Ross-designed golf course. The Constellation Furyk and Friends is on track to surpass the 2021 Donation to charities in the Jacksonville area of $1.17 million dollars.

Add in 78 “Friends” coming into town for a “Long Weekend,” to compete for a $2 million purse, and Tabatha and Jim Furyk have created a premiere fund-raising event for all of Jacksonville and the First Coast of Golf to be proud of. Jake Owen and Jordan Davis kicked off the tournament week with a special performance at Daily’s Place on Tuesday, October 4th. Also featured were 3 Pro-Am days so the fans and sponsors could be involved in the action and excitement around this PGA Tour Champions event. And if you were a gambler… having a “Pair of Jacks” on the first tee would be quite a site. Jack Nicklaus and Wolfson Children’s Hospital patient Jack Jones hitting the ceremonially first tee shot to start the competition on Friday morning. Steve Stricker became Champion of the 2022 FURYK & FRIENDS with an impressive 14-under par… 2 strokes ahead of Harrison Frazar finishing 2nd place and 3 stroke ahead of tournament host Jim Furyk finishing at 11-under par. The Jim and Tabatha Furyk Foundation website says it best: We have created the foundation to help families and children in need, The Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation is dedicated to making our community a better place. The nonprofit charity is involved in many different projects across North Florida; collaborating with other organizations to help provide necessary funding to become healthier, stronger, and educationally enriched.
