FITT B-ACTIVE FLEX AND RIGID: TOGETHER TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR SWIMMING POOL

FITT B-Active Flex and FITT B-Active Rigid, are the top products of FITT Pool&SPA Solutions, business-unit of FITT Group which develops complete solutions and produces hoses and pipes, fittings and accessories for water circulation, pool and Spas cleaning. Hoses and pipes are of paramount importance in the construction of in-ground swimming-pool systems. Not only do they ensure constant inflow of sanitized water, but they

are required to sustain heavy-duty conditions for long period of time since the installation phase, and resist shocks due to reckless use. Once buried, they must: → support a crushing strength due to the mechanical pressure of the ground above; → resist the chemical aggression caused by the presence of sanitizing substances, such as chlorine; → adapt to the settling of the system itself, which may cause cracks and water leaks. That’s why, the choice of pipes must be thought carefully by selecting high-quality and performance products that help preventing these problems, and consequently save scheduled maintenance costs due to pipe breaking and malfunctions. The competency of FITT in the production of pipes for water networks and its distinctive capacity to PVC-A with a 3-layer structure continuously innovate have met end-customer requirements to create a unique pipe circuit: FITT B-Active Rigid, the new rigid pipe that ensures robustness, durability, and reliability for installers, designers, and swimming-pool owners, that joins the renewed FITT B-Active Flex. FITT B-Active Flex is the flexible PVC spiral hose even more resistant to the mechanical stresses thanks to the EVO TECH innovation. The EVO TECH innovation further strengthens the film covering the rigid spiral (Spiral Protection Barrier technology) and makes the hose 6 times more resistant to cracking than other hoses - according to EN ISO 3994. The hose is then protected whilst preserving the high flexibility and narrow bending radius characteristics. FITT B-Active Flex with inner anti-chlorine protective film (Chlorine Defence System patent), and rigid anti-crushing PVC spiral reinforcement (D-Shape patent) is ideal for embedded pools and SPAs. FITT B-Active Rigid has been manufactured by using the Shock Wave technology, which ensures its shock-resistance even at low temperatures (down to -10 °C). It is made

This facilitates its installation and reduces the accidental damages that may be caused by transportation or handling in the building site. To create a safe hydraulic circuit, FITT B-Active Rigid can be connected to FITT B-Active Flex.

FITT offers a 10-year warranty and specific ten-year insurance cover for third-party damage, which also covers excavation, disassembly and reassembly of the spiral hose and rigid pipe and backfill activities.
