The American Maine-Anjou Association (AMAA) Board of Directors met on April 14, via zoom, for a special conference call to discuss association plans for 2022.

By board vote, the following decisions were made:

- The AMAA will add the 2022 Cattlemen’s Congress to the AMAA’s national shows designation. The shows included in this designation are American Royal, Kansas City, Mo., North American International Livestock Expo, Louisville, Ky., Cattlemen’s Congress, Oklahoma City, Okla., National Western Stock Show, Denver, Colo., and Fort Worth Stock Show, Fort Worth, Texas.

- Pen shows will be offered at both the Cattlemen’s Congress and National Western Stock Show. Junior & Open Shows are offered at all national shows.

- The 2022 Bright Lights Maine-Anjou Sale will be held in conjunction with the Cattlemen’s Congress, Oklahoma City, Okla.

- The National Maine-Anjou Show & Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the Fort Worth Stock Show, January 27 - 30.
