PAR 4 This straight away short par 4 is anything but an easy starting hole. An aggressive line off the tee down the right side will present the best angle into this dynamic green complex. Once safely on board, take your two putts and run to the next tee. 4 is a great way to start your day.

PAR 4 Don’t let the large fairway mislead you. Hole 2 can be a beast. From a good position in the fairway, select 1 or 2 more clubs to be sure to reach the elevated green. Approach shots favoring the left side will avoid the deep bunkers short and right, and leave you the best opportunity to make par. TEE

PAR 4 3 This downhill par 3 is the most under rated of all the par 3’s. You’re best chance of making par here is to select the right club off the tee, but the prevailing right to left cross wind can make that a challenge. Missing this Green anywhere but short presents a very difficult up and down. TEE

PAR 5 The first realistic chance at birdie on the front 9. A long drive down the right side will give you the best angle to attack this par 5 in 2. Navigating the cross bunkers and placing your second shot in the right portion of the fairway is critical in attacking the many different pin locations. TEE

PAR 4 Pay attention! Don’t let this par 4 sneak up on you. Your tee shot needs to be played between the gnarly fescue on the right and the deep depression on the left. Once safe off the tee, second shots favoring short and left will most likely kick toward the green and leave you with a good chance at par. TEE

PAR 3 Appropriately named, this downhill par 3 typically plays at least one club less depending on wind conditions. Avoiding the large green side bunker and the collection area to the left could have you walking away with birdie. TEE

PAR 5 Tee shots on this classic par 5 need to be played through a saddled fairway. Long drives will most likely carry past the slope to a flat landing area. Depending on the pin location your second shot needs to be positioned left or right of the large cross bunker to give yourself the best angle of attack. TEE

PAR 3 Another downhill par 3 that will play less than the actual yardage. A shot played short and left will typically feed down toward the green, leaving you the best opportunity for par. Anything long and/ or right will be a difficult up and down. TEE

PAR 4 A downhill right to left dogleg that places a premium on accuracy rather than distance. Tee shots placed down the right side will kick left off the hillside and leave you a short approach into this green. From this point, creativity will sometimes be more rewarding than science. TEE

PAR 4 This uphill par 4 with trouble, both left and right, is one of the most challenging on the course. A fairway metal or Hybrid is all you need to position yourself in the fairway leaving you with a short iron approach to a small shallow green. Be Precise. Danger looms if you are short or long. TEE

PAR 5 Tee it high & let it fly! This signature hole at Blackhawk is a spectacular par 5 with tremendous elevation change from tee to green. Once in the fairway, approach shots must favor the left side as the severe hillside will kick the ball towards the green and give you a chance at birdie or eagle. TEE

PAR 3 One of the strongest holes on the course, this par 3 is a long forced carry over water to a well protected green. A good shot up the right side will likely feed down toward the middle of the green. TEE

PAR 4 A long par 4 set alongside the North Saskatchewan is intimidating from start to finish. A drive down the left side will avoid the hidden bunkers off the tee and shorten the overall length. Your second shot is no gimmee however, as you will be left with a long approach to a large contoured green. TEE

PAR 4 The underrated 14th presents a challenging tee shot that shapes from left to right. Once safely on the fairway, take note of your lie as rarely do you ever get a flat one. Approach shots should avoid the large collection area to the left as this will make it extremely difficult to get up and down. TEE

PAR 5 Appropriately named, the 15th is our longest hole on the course. Forget about going for this one in two though. Swallow your pride and lay up short of the cross bunkers, leaving yourself a full shot into the undulated green.

PAR 3 What you see, is what you get. The swirling winds will make club selection a priority on this par 3. Once committed, be confident and make a good swing. There is room over the green, but it will present a difficult pitch back to the putting surface. TEE

PAR 4 A long tree lined par 4 that typically plays into the prevailing wind. Tee shots down the right side will allow the best angle of attack. Approaching this green from the right side is key in avoiding the large green side bunkers.

PAR 4 With the money on the line, this is no time to let up. This par 4 can crush you and your round if you are not careful. With trouble both left and right, accuracy is critical. Approach shots play uphill and negotiate the series of green side bunkers to the right.
