LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO

It’s an honor and privilege to lead our 5 star Accredited Chamber, one of the top 1 percent of chambers nationwide. The Edmond Chamber and our Edmond community have been blessed with decades of significant and impactful leadership, and look forward to having the opportunity to continue the momentum of this success.

Edmond is built upon the consistency of our small businesses and the strength of our education system. The chamber has successfully created programs and supported initiatives that enhance this foundation of success for over 115 years. Our 2023 program priorities of small business, networking, government relations, community outreach, member development, and developing the next generation of leaders will be no different than in years past. We will focus on enhancing and maintaining the chamber’s role in ensuring Edmond’s business and education communities remain top notch.

With the foundation of our membership strong and our programs and events better than ever, we are now shifting our focus externally onto the role we can play to enhance and grow business in Edmond. As your business leaders, we commit to ensuring the voice of business is heard and the lines of communication with government officials are open. We commit to further educate and inform our membership of the issues that impact our community, and we will fight to support and promote the best interest of our Edmond businesses.

For those of you already serving and involved in any capacity at the chamber, thank you for your leadership and involvement. Please join me and your Board of Directors in making a commitment to enhance your voice and the voice of business in 2023 What role can you play in promoting business interests and educating others on community issues? How can you use your voice within your company and network of friends and family? Commit with me to make it a priority to further the value of your chamber membership by developing others around you and sharing your time and making your voice heard.

For those of you not yet involved, please accept my challenge to get involved. Through the chamber, you can make a difference with your voice, time, and area of expertise. We need more willing and committed leaders and volunteers to carry out the 2023 program priorities.
