FROM THE

PUBLISHER PEOPLE ARE EDMOND’S GREATEST RESOURCE

Our great community of Edmond is filled with so many features that make it a wonderful place to live. We have an excellent city government, great schools, lively businesses and facilities that are second to none in Oklahoma. The organizations that help make our city great have our Edmond’s best assets as members. I have long believed that of all the wonderful things to be found here in Edmond that our people are the greatest resource. Being active and involved is the best thing a person can do to help the community they live in. We need to be active and involved in our community. Edmond is a great community because our residents, organizations and businesses do take things a step further and get involved. It is what makes us one of the very best communities in the nation. Our yearly Calendar of Events shines a light on the results of many of those efforts in Edmond as well as a resource that will help you and your family not miss out on what goes on here in Edmond.

Ray Hibbard

You will find in these pages many of the Edmond activities that require much work from our citizens. Our community puts in thousands of volunteer hours for these events, which make Edmond a better place. We thank them for their efforts. We invite you to participate in many of the activities in this year’s Calendar of Events. We know you will enjoy them.

Since we are locally owned and operated, it is natural for us to be active in Edmond. We are joined by so many other great companies and individuals. In fact, we are inspired by the many good corporate citizens in Edmond. Business owners in Edmond have long been blessed with great vision for the community and are willing to turn that vision into action. I want to thank our staff for putting together, yet again, Edmond’s only comprehensive guide to activities in our community. The advertisers in these pages help support and provide the space for the listing of all these activities. We hope you will thank them by supporting their businesses and services.
