In this role I initially collaborated within a team on the feasibility studies and design development of large housing schemes (200-300 units), always successfully gaining building permission from the local authorities. My responsibilities rapidly increased to include site inspections and production of construction drawings for both social housing and residential units. I developed strong relationships with the clients and autonomously managed different phases of multiple ongoing large scale residential projects, while working directly with the office directors. This included coming up with sketch designs and preliminary presentations, preparing design drawings, presenting in city council meetings and producing a full suite of construction drawings.

After my academic internship in 2011, I was asked to join full time following my graduation from Politecnico di Milano. As part of a small team, I contributed to the conceptual and schematic design of a large mixed use redevelopment of an old industrial site (10 acres), and various private housing proposals, including design drawings for a new housing development. I became known for my 3D modeling skills, and ultimately led the office rendering production for all ongoing projects. Prior to my departure, I trained a new hire regarding all current jobs and the design software utilized (primarily Sketchup and Photoshop).
After a living in Dublin for five years, I have recently relocated to the United States with a Permanent Resident Visa. In Dublin, I completed my studies and joined a leading Irish office for nearly three years working primarily on large residential developments.

Evolving the Mat - Graduation Thesis at Dublin School of Architecture - DIT The aim of this Thesis is a study of an integration of the public space into a private place. This was achieved by introducing a public pedestrian route through a sunglasses factory. The people passing by can now gaze at the craftmenship required to handmake the glasses. The archetype chosen and explored in this project is the Mat Building. Defined by Alison Smithson as a large-scale, high-density structure organized on a modulated grid, it symbolizes the anonymous collective. Here form does not follow function, but certain human activities that would ultimately define it.

Proposed Mixed Use Redevelopment - with Studio Arch. Moretti Proposed redevelopment of a large abandoned industrial site (10 acres). The project proposed a large commercial building, a community center and various apartment blocks, while preserving the historical building listed as local architectural heritage. Role in the project: assisting senior architects with preparation of drawings and led the 3D modeling and rendering production of the various proposals for meeting with clients and local authorities.
