EUROPEAN VISITING PROGRAMME

Dear EDSA friends,

EVP stands for European Visiting Programme, which is an EDSA project that offers you the opportunity to visit foreign countries, get a brief insight of other dental faculties and build new friendships. All members and observer countries of EDSA can participate in the EVP.

Starting EVP requires a few steps: 1.

Get in touch with the official EDSA delegate at your faculty. Let him /her know where you would like to go for the exchange and gather information on the EDSA EVP opportunities.

2.

The official delegate at your faculty should then contact the delegate from the country you would like to visit and arrange details of exchange (arrival and departure day, number of incoming students, the schedule at hosting faculty, accommodation, ...)

3.

Sign the EVP contract (delegates are in charge of the contract - it can be found on the EDSA website)

4.

Go abroad, have a great time!

5.

Give us your feedback!

There are no sponsorship possibilities, since these exchanges are short lasting. At the EDSA summer meeting, certificates for all those who participated in the EVP during the academic year, will be signed by the ADEE and EDSA and given to delegates.

1

The aim of the EVP is not only educational, but also cultural. Nothing broadens the horizons as travelling does, getting to know more about different cultures, lifestyles and religions, gives you an appreciation for what you have and what others might need. I encourage all dental students to take part in the EVP and expand their perspectives. If you encounter any problems or need information please do not hesitate to contact me at evp_ofďŹ cer@edsaweb.org. I will be more than happy to answer your questions.

Best wishes,

Emina Kabil European Visiting Programme ofďŹ cer 2012-2013 European Dental Student's Association Tel: +385 (0)92 233 7910
