We are living in a time of massive institutional failure with not wanted results. Environmental issues, AIDS, hunger, poverty etc. this time calls for a new consciousness and a new collective leadership capacity to face these huge challenges. AIESEC as organization of vanguard leadership never has had such a great responsibility to deliver those positive change agents in the framework of an organization that has assimilated the need to respond to large and rapid changes with GEN 2010 and now plans, with AIESEC 2015, an ambitious goal to reach every young person in the world, becoming a global youth voice, being recognized as first choice partner across sectors and creating a cross- generational positive impact. Due to my own learning and development as a member living and understanding the organization from GEN 2010 to AIESEC 2015, I want to committee myself to the develop of AIESEC in Colombia as part of the Member committee in the role of vice-president of local committee Having in mind a SWOT analysis, my main priorities for the role are: Ensure national alignment (MC-LC) for a country strategy, growth of operations and the improvement of the experiences in each LC and as a national entity; ensure coordination and constant communication between the entities (LCs and extensions) for cooperation, GCP and knowledge sharing; Ensure simplicity in the information and guidelines from the MC for more efficient process and results. My proposal is to work in two phases, one to continue and complete the structure of the LC development model in the country that is being done currently by the actual MCVP LCD (using different tools available for that) and the other is to implement changes in the culture of each entity (under the idea: “the way we think, the way we act”) and programs trough a national multitask team or the figure of regional managers (can be along with LCD managers) that will use Rewards and Recognition system, LC connection programs, LC coaching (physical and virtual) for the implementation of a leverage plan which aims to support the growth of all LCs (including extensions) with the help Application`s video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOqT_BBe498&feature=youtu.be
