arpa
ARPA is the outcome of an individual work with focus on form and technology. ARPA is an assistive device for Parkinson’s Disease that works as an e-cane.
W HAT I S I T ARPA is a medical device. It exercises postural stability, movement of long and find limbs. ARPA amplifies visual, spatial and auditory senses for executing and initiating movements which are compromised by Parkinson’s Disease.
HOW I T WO R KS With a camera, a sonification and a bluetooth device fed by a battery, patients interact during therapy . It improves balance, gain, motivation, Wengaging in more social instances. Doctors and therapist can use the data gathered by ARPA to tailor improvements and adjust medication.

Priva is a result of a group work for my second semester Master focused on the Health sector for Home Healthcare systems.
W HAT I S I T Priva is a reusable, electric and smart inhaler that treats lung disease by helping users to perform a correct inhalation posture with feed-back and feed forward. It reports medication intakes to doctors who can now monitor a patient’s treatment.
NE W ME A N I NG A personal healthcare device changes the status-quo of inhalers for lung disease by removing plastic waste from the environment. A smart inhaler saves time to Healthcare practitioners when performing demonstrations, doing medical check-ups and using a correct head-positioning during inhalation of dry powder medication.
