Spanish Courses Long gone are the days when you learned a language by copying notes from the chalk board. With LIFE™ (Language Immersion For Everyone), from your first day, you’ll learn Spanish by using vocabulary and grammar in practical situations. With LIFE™ you are no longer just part of the audience, you are immediately in the middle of the action. COURSE STRUCTURE
Table of Contents 1 Cover 2 Introduction 3 Spanish Courses 1 4 Spanish Courses 2
The courses are set up in such a way that you can study for anywhere between 1 and 36 weeks. We have reserved special start dates for absolute beginners. If you already speak (a little) Spanish you can start on any Monday. All our teachers are native speakers, university trained and they specialise in teaching Spanish to students like you. They have all been carefully selected to be your perfect guide to learning Spanish and to teach you about their culture. We are very proud of our academic team who set a standard for teaching Spanish worldwide.
LIFE™ is learning a new language in a natural, practical and fast way: • Natural because you learn the language by using your intuition and exploring the meaning of words and expressions. • Practical because you can use what you have learned from the first day in everyday situations. • Fast because our methodology and full language immersion help you to truly cement the new language which allows you to build further language skills faster.

Cosmopolitan Jewel It is difficult to think of a place that offers more variety in art, history and entertainment than Barcelona. No wonder this city is one of the most popular destinations in the world to learn Spanish. Barcelona has a long history and was a garrison town for the Romans. When you walk around the old town, you are walking on the original street grid of the Roman camp. Barcelona came to prominence a thousand years ago as one of the most powerful cities in the Mediterranean. It ruled the waves for a number of centuries. Of course, Barcelona is also renowned for its Modernist architecture of which Gaudí’s Sagrada Famila is the best known example. However, the bricks and mortar don’t explain it all. Barcelona also offers a positive, creative vibe that expresses itself in a never ending stream of events, concerts and activities. As you would expect from the second largest city in Spain, you’ll find a great place to eat or drink for any budget or taste bud. Nightlife goes on until the sun comes up and is as varied as an intimate jazz bar in the Barrio Gótico to stunning open-air night clubs in the hills of Tibidabo. Our school is located in a historic building in the city centre with a beautiful sunny terrace where students and teachers mingle and meet.
“Barcelona offers a positive creative vibe”
Please visit our website for the latest information about Barcelona. The classes are well structured and fun. You will learn about culture and meet other interesting students in addition to grammar and conversation. Barcelona is also a magnificent city! Do not miss a chance to live and learn here! Why? Capital of the Latin world with all the attractions The welcoming atmosphere created by the Madrileños Easy going in spite of being a big city
Madrid’s fortune stems from the decision in 1561 to transfer the Royal Courts from Toledo and the city has never looked back. It is the cultural, economic and political centre of Spain and the natural bridge between Europe and Latin America. Madrid is an immigrant city. Everyone is “from somewhere” and that makes it a welcoming and fascinating melting pot. It is also a true capital city with grand avenues, regal parks and world class art collections. Madrid has a collection of neighbourhoods. You’ll only have to step off the main road to enter a wonderful world of different “barrios”, each with its own local feel. You’ll be surrounded by the Madrileños: they talk a lot, laugh a lot and are always interested in meeting new people like you. No wonder so many Spanish film makers choose the city as the backdrop for their story telling. Madrid is simply full of life. Among the highlights of Madrid are the Retiro park where you can refresh yourself from city life, the triangle of museums (Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía) that offer a stunning overview of classic and modern masterpieces and the Plaza Mayor where you can do some serious people watching. Our school is located in the very heart of the city within easy walking distance to all the attractions Madrid has to offer.

A lot more than Flamenco Sevilla is many things. Capital of Andalusia, birth place of flamenco, economic centre of southern Spain and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It was founded by the Greeks and became one of the most important cities first under the Romans and later under Moorish reign. Once Columbus had led the way, Sevilla became the clearing house for all goods and treasures brought from South America. The wealth this created is apparent when you walk around the streets of the city. It is not difficult to imagine how the city must have felt 400 years ago. Then of course there are the “gitanos” who fused their music and dance, originally from India, with the Arab music they found in Andalusia. Flamenco was born. With its bright colours, passion for life and heart touching stories, flamenco is one of the world’s greatest art forms. All of this makes Sevilla a very proud city, a world unto itself and a feast to visit. But don’t think of Sevilla as a living museum, far from it, Sevilla also has a very young and active feel that makes it a great destination to learn Spanish and learn about modern Spain. Our school is located in the very heart of the city within easy walking distance yo all the attractions Sevilla has to offer.

Queen of Latin America A famous Tango song says it all: Buenos Aires is the Queen of Cities. Perhaps its secret lies in having everything; culture, architecture, art, music and non-stop nightlife. Together, it all combines to form a fascinating city worth discovering block by block. Buenos Aires is South America’s most cosmopolitan city and is often the first stop for a discovery tour of the Continent. It feels like a European city set in Latin America. Most of its immigrants came from Western Europe, particularly from Spain and Italy, this created a melting pot of different cultures that played an important role in the founding of the city. The city, of course, also created its own heritage, adding to the mix some sultry tangos, quaint cafés and most of all, the flair of its residents, the proud “Porteños”. Not to be missed is Buenos Aires at nightfall, the Porteños’ favourite time to celebrate their city and interact with each other in a myriad of restaurants, coffeehouses, discotheques and bars which stay open until the wee hours. Buenos Aires is a city that appreciates aesthetics, good food and good manners. Like many others have discovered before, you too will have an amazing time learning Spanish in this vibrant place. Our school is located in the city centre at easy travelling distance from all the attractions, museums, bars and restaurants.
