As a result students who go through the LLI program and successfully complete our Academic Prep courses will have a TOEFL score (minimum score of 90) that will allow them to apply to Universities and Colleges across Canada and the world. that gives us a good idea as to how long a student will need to study before meeting University requirements. This process takes 2-4 weeks of processing time. All documents will be couriered to the students and they can apply for their study permits.
When a student applies to London Language Institute they should also send their academic transcripts and let us know what field of study they are hoping to go into for University or College. LLI will complete an application and students will receive a conditional letter of acceptance from the University and a letter of acceptance from London Language Institute. The length of study at LLI depends on their present English level. We do have an on-line assessment
As our program has had great success we have high expectations of our students. Each student will sign monthly agreements that highlight our expectations of all our students. These mini-contracts ensure students recognize the work they need to do to ensure they are making the proper progress and moving towards meeting University requirements. Take control of your future! Please contact the LLI office for further information.

ESL Program
TOEFL Success! The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test designed to measure an individual’s proficiency in English. Universities, Colleges, and other academic institutions in the United States and Canada require International students to provide proof of their English abilities by obtaining a minimum score. In addition, many employers around the world will require a minimum TOEFL score for employees working in a career requiring knowledge of the English language.
Success! program differs from many other programs, as it not only teaches test-taking strategies, but also the language required to succeed on the test and in future academic or career endeavours.

The program is based on the new TOEFL format (iBT).
Students will be required to complete an initial TOEFL assessment to record a baseline score. A complete TOEFL practice test will be administered each month to monitor progress.
The complete program is 12-weeks in duration, however it is possible to join the course for shorter lengths of time for short-term upgrading.
LLI offers both full and part time ESL programs. We have a 9-level curriculum which ensures students are placed into appropriate levels with students of their ability.
