Colchester English Study Centre has offered specialised English courses to students from all over the world since 1969. Students who register on these courses benefit from many years of specialised English training at the highest level.
As business and commerce become increasingly globalised, proficiency in English has grown to be an essential requirement for business professionals. Students who register for Business English programmes at CESC will benefit from many years of specialised English training at the highest level and from qualified, experienced staff. Colchester English Study Centre has offered Business English courses since 1969. Typically, students can study either Combination courses of 20 x 50minute/week group classes in General English / Skills classes + 10 x 50minute/week 1:1 lessons, or Full Immersion programmes of 30 x 50-minute/week fully professional Business English. Some degree of flexibility is possible, and students may also study in closed groups. Content includes: BUSINESS PRESENTATIONS BUSINESS VOCABULARY DEVELOPMENT TELEPHONE SKILLS NEGOTIATING SOCIAL ENGLISH READING THE BUSINESS PRESS MEETINGS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS: LETTERS, FAX AND E-MAIL BUSINESS REPORT WRITING
In addition, Colchester English Study Centre can offer preparation for the BEC examination (Business English Certificate). Candidates may also take the examination at CESC. This is an internationally recognised test of Business English, organised by Cambridge University ESOL. CESC can also offer preparation for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination.
