BRIGHTON’S ROYAL PAVILION – ONE OF THE UK’S MOST RECOGNISABLE LANDMARKS
SOUTH COAST STUDENT CITY BRIGHTON IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO LIVE AND STUDY. OFTEN CALLED “LONDON BY THE SEA”, BRIGHTON IS A YOUNG AND COSMOPOLITAN CITY WITH TWO UNIVERSITIES. THE CITY IS FAMOUS FOR ITS NIGHTLIFE, INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANTS, FASHION, SHOPPING, MUSIC AND THE ARTS. WHILE IT HAS ALL THE FACILITIES YOU WOULD EXPECT OF A CITY, IT IS SMALL ENOUGH TO GET TO KNOW (AND LOVE) IN A FEW DAYS. Brighton and Hove is also full of English history, and it has its own royal palace, the Pavilion, which is one of the most extraordinary buildings in England. Brighton and Hove is less than an hour from Central London by train and is within easy reach of Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Visiting Europe is also very easy and we arrange regular excursions to European cities. The city also has many services and events especially for international students, so it is one of easiest English cities to live in if you are new to the UK. FACT FILE

‘I’D RECOMMEND GEOS BECAUSE OF THE VERY HIGH LEVEL OF THE TEACHERS’ QUALIFICATION AND THE FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE’ Andrey Boretskiy (Russia)
OUR SCHOOL GEOS BRIGHTON IS A MEDIUM SIZED SCHOOL AND WE OFFER A PERSONAL AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. We have between 75 and 195 students depending on the time of year. Our class sizes are small – a maximum of 12, and an average of 9, which means you are guaranteed lots of personal attention in and out of class. We offer all the services you would expect including airport transfer, homestay accommodation, and a social programme. We can also advise you on further study in the UK, and taking examinations such as IELTS, FCE and CAE. Our teaching staff profile is excellent. Many of our tutors are qualified to postgraduate level in teaching English, which exceeds the British Council’s minimum standards. Most also have many years of experience and are also IELTS or Cambridge examiners.
