Brighton Brighton is a thriving, regenerated city, on the South Coast of England. The Brighton Pavilion, Dome and Pier, remind us of its Georgian Royal patronage and fashionability. Today, all major high street shops and brands can be found in the city centre, or in the seemingly unending winding alleys that form The Lanes. There are many excellent places to eat to suit all pockets, bars to suit all tastes and coffee and tea shops. The famous beaches come alive in the summer and Brighton hosts many events such as the London to Brighton Bike Ride. Recent and popular annual events, such as the Pride Parade and Brighton Marathon, add further colour to the streets.

Did you know Ovingdean Hall is a listed building that was originally built by Nathaniel Kemp and called Ovingdean House in 1792? Its distinctive period doorway has been incorporated in to the new visual identity of Ovingdean Hall International Language College, creating a highly recognisable icon. Over the years the Hall has been a private residence, a school for Young Gentlemen, has housed both Crimean and Napoleonic prisoners of war, has played host to Commonwealth forces and has latterly been a school for the hard of hearing. Established in 2011, Ovingdean Hall International Language College has been set up specifically to provide a first-class learning environment for visiting international students. Continuing with the educational heritage of the site, we encourage academic excellence but also want our students to enjoy a culturally and socially enhancing experience.
