Jill and Gill went up to the mill on the hill. They wanted to fill the pan. 3


Jill wanted a sip. She put the pan to her lip. 4


“Kip the dog ran out of the mill. “Yip, yip, yip!” said Kip. “Kip ran at Jill. 5


Jill let go of the pan. She tipped and fell. She hit Gill. They fell down the hill. 6


“Gill’s hat was ripped. “Jill’s hip was not good. “I am ill,” said Jill. 7


Kip was not a bad dog. He saw that Jill was ill. He saw that Gill was sad. 8


“Yip, yip, yip,” Kip said. “I will help,” he yipped. 9


Kip ran up the hill. He got a hat for Gill. He got Doctor Pip for Jill. 10


“Doctor Pip had a pill for Jill. “Now, you are not ill,” said Doctor Pip. “You will get my bill.” 11


“We are not mad at you, Kip,” Jill and Gill said. “You are a good dog.” 12
