Business Advanced Diploma in English for Business About English for Business Gain insight into today’s successful business practices while learning the trade language of the corporate world. This program is a combination of intensive English studies with a specialized business curriculum. Lessons are taught using the famous Harvard Business School case study methodology and cover topics such as global marketing, successful negotiation, public speaking, leadership development, decisionmaking, planning strategies, product development and conversation skills. Key Concepts of Business This module is a dynamic introduction to the world of business. Based on real life experiences, it allows students to clearly see the relevance of business concepts in everyday life. Additionally, the course engages students’ in such a way that they keep up with global business trends. Marketing The course develops students’ ability to understand the core concepts of marketing. It analyzes the relationship between value, satisfaction and quality while also looking at what affects

Business Case Studies You will study real life business case studies, including company description, problem identification, situation analysis and recommended action. You will also use various business tools, such as SWOT analysis, The Five Ms, the Porter Model, and basic financial calculations, to help with your analysis. At the same time, you will strengthen language skills, including reading comprehension, oral presentations, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.

Business Writing This course is designed to teach students about the various types of written communication in business. Students will practice different styles and levels of formality. They will also explore etiquette and appropriateness, process writing, questionnaires and how to deal with difficult situations.

Entrepreneurship This course is designed to teach students how to create an Executive Summary for a new business. Working in teams, students will learn to present a 60-second elevator speech where a member of each team explains why an investor should invest in the group’s new business. Also, in addition to writing a proposal, students will create graphic designs to enhance their Executive Summary. Leadership and Management You will develop knowledge of successful leadership principles and management styles. You will

The placement, which takes place during your last term, can be part or full time while the duration varies per destination and company. Examples: Marketing, Financial Accounting, Management.
