Key Concepts of Media & Art This course provides students with a more detailed understanding of the global media industry. You’ll watch the media as observers so to perform analysis of the impact of the stories media outlets choose to tell and sell. Film Studies In this module, you will be taught how to analyze the film industry by studying how to identify genres and how filmmakers use cinematography and mise en scène. You will explore world cinema and the history of filmmaking, which will help you in writing scripts and plot synopsis.
Advertising and Marketing You will learn the basic principles and strategies of advertising and marketing, which will allow you to analyze media concepts in detail. We recommend studying in London if you have a special interest in advertising and marketing. Photography Here, you will learn the basic techniques of digital photography. You will also experiment and expand your knowledge of photography, both in a historical and contemporary context. Journalism and Media Studies The course is designed to give you both a theoretical and practical foundation in professional journalism. The curriculum will enhance your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills so you will become more effective consumers and communicators of mass communication. We recommend New York for students with a special interest in journalism. Graphic Design Lectures, discussions and demonstrations will introduce you to key design terminology.
