In many cases, a language certificate is required to study in a foreign country. If you want to study in a North American university, you will generally be required to take the TOEFL, while if you’re drawn to non-US academic institutions, then the IELTS and the Cambridge English Exam are your best bet. Meanwhile, French universities generally require the DELF and DALF, while Spanish ones will ask for the DELE.
Most global companies ask for the TOEIC (the Test of English for International Communication), which evaluates English used in the workplace. There are two different types of exams – the TOEIC Listening & Reading Test, and the TOEIC Speaking & Writing Test. Much like the IELTS and the TOEFL, the tests are score-based and your results will be valid for two years.
As many graduate-level business programs require the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) as part of their admission criteria, a GMAT preparation course is the fastest way to management and business success.
