Information on Course Transfer Procedures Transfer and Withdrawal Procedure Note(s): (1)
All Transfer and withdrawal policy statements are detailed in the School’s Transfer and Withdrawal Policy. All conditions must be satisfied before the School can proceed with the applications. The Transfer and Withdrawal process should not take more than 4 weeks from date application to notifying student of outcome.

Date of application will refer to the date that the School receives the duly executed BCN Form with all supporting documents.

Definition of Course Transfer and Withdrawal : Course Transfer: Transfer means a student changes the course of study but remains as a student of the School. Course Withdrawal: Withdrawal means the student contract will be terminated and the student is no longer a student of the School. Note: A student who withdraws from the School to enrol with another EF course in another country shall be deemed to have withdrawn and the refund policy and procedures shall apply.
1.
Respective Staff to meet up with Student
1.1
For students who wishes to transfer, respective staff is to meet up with student to establish reasons for a course transfer.
1.2
If student still wants to proceed with a Course Transfer, he / she is to approach the Director of Studies.

Student to approach Director of Studies
2.1
Director of Studies is to inform student on the following :
Student must meet all minimum entry requirements of the new course they are enrolling in The standard student contract for the current course that the student is enrolled in will be voided upon approval of Course Transfer Request A new standard student contract for the new course will need to be signed (Refer to Procedures of Executing Student Contract) upon approval of Course Transfer Request
Only applicable for students under the age of 18 Years Old Director of Studies is to seek the consent of the student’s parents or guardians prior to proceeding with the Course Transfer Request. Consent can be through email, tele conversation or letter.

Student to sign on Booking Change Notification (BCN) Form
3.1
Director of Studies is to access Elektra for the Booking Change Notification (BCN) form, which will then be printed, and student is to sign and acknowledge on the Booking Change Notification (BCN) form.
3.2
Any supporting documentations that are required to process the Course Transfer Request (if necessary), must also be submitted along with the Booking Change Notification (BCN) Form.
3.3
Supporting documents for Course Transfers should minimally include any documents that show that the student meets the minimum entry requirements for the new course that he / she is applying to.
3.4
The BCN form will then be scanned and uploaded into Elektra by the Director of Studies.
3.5
Upon completion of the BCN form, Director of Studies will send it to overseas Sales Office where the refund will be made to students.

Conducting of Pre-Course Counselling
4.1
Director of Studies is to conduct the Pre-Course Counselling session with the Student who would be required to sign on the Pre-course Counseling From form to acknowledge that he/she has been informed of the various critical information. Director of Studies is also to ensure that the new course is suitable for the student.

Issuing Letter to Effect or Reject Course Transfer Request
5.1
Upon approval from Sales Office, A Letter to Effect or Reject Course Transfer Request will be given to the student.
5.2
For Requests that are approved, student is to proceed with the application process for the new course.
