Setting mentor

You will have a mentor in your setting, supporting you with a weekly meeting; observing you teaching and working closely with your eQualitas tutor to contribute to your assessment and target setting.

eQualitas tutor

You will have an eQualitas tutor who visits you a minimum of five times during your course. At each visit, your tutor will observe you teaching, and meet with you and your mentor to discuss your progress and agree your next steps. You will also have contact with your tutor remotely through our online platform and Team meetings.

eQualitas tutors also help arrange placement/s and visit you while you are on placement, to observe you teaching and to discuss your progress. Working together, your tutor and mentor provide training and support so that you can develop mastery of the Curriculum and meet the Early Years Teachers’ Standards by the end of the course.
