Select your school by the beach, a school with strong academic preparation, in a famous city, that has a certain academic, sports or arts program.

We ll guide you to choose the perfect public/state, private or boarding school for you, and arrange a safe and caring home to live in. Programs from 2 weeks to multiple years. Everything you have dreamed of! An ideal pathway to university.

Classic - The traditional exchange

The traditional exchange program for cultural immersion. Live with a welcoming host family, while improving your language skills and attending a local high school. We (or our partners) choose the school. Not recommended as a pathway to university.

Academic Exchange - The hybrid program

The hybrid program. We choose the school, but students can choose a sport, subject, language, climate that is important to them, or to earn a diploma if they are entering grade 12 and get placed at a school that has that. They can also choose whether to study at a public or private school! More flexible than the Classic program. Can be used as a pathway to university.

No matter where you study in the USA, you will experience the typical high school spirit that American high schools are known for. You will recognize many of elements from classic high school movies: clubs, sports teams, prom and homecoming, as well as Friday Night Football. Let's not forget academics! Besides taking mandatory subjects such as Math and English, there are a wide range of subjects you can choose from - Science, STEM, Languages, AP Courses, Multimedia, Art and Music.

Our SELECT Public High School Program is the premium choice for students who want the public school of their dreams. You choose an amazing public school or district in a fantastic location, where you will experience a traditional American high school while living with a caring host family.

Our top-ranked public schools are located in popular US destinations; select a school district that matches your goals and interests. Choose to study exactly where you want – Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Miami, Seattle or more! This program provides the most choice and control on a public school program, allowing you to live in one of America’s best known cities, in the climate you want, and to study at a school offering specific subjects, sports, arts, and extracurricular activities you want.

• Age: 14-19 upon arrival

• Length of Program: Academic Year, Academic Semester and Short Term Programs

• Language Requirement: ELTiS 205 or higher, TOEFL IBT 45 or higher

• Grades Accepting Students: 9-12

• GPA: 2.0 minimum or C average

• Can Students Earn a Diploma Yes, many schools offer Diploma Year Programs

• Program Start and End Date Schools generally run from August/September-May/June. Second semester usually starts in January

Our SELECT Private Day School Program offers you the best of both worlds; the chance to study at a premium private day school and live with an American family! Our wonderful private schools are located all across the United States, so you can choose an exact school that meets your academic, athletic, extracurricular and geographic preferences. Choose to study for a year, a semester, multiple years or even a short term program!

We work with private schools in some of the most popular destinations in the USA like Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, New York, and Washington D.C. Our Private Day School Program is academically challenging with many students attending for multiple years in pursuit of a high school diploma. Some even go on to study at top American universities! We’ll help guide you through the selection process to find a private high school that’s just right for you! Studying in a private school environment can be academically challenging. Your caring host family and local coordinator will support you along the way. Academic Exchange Program

Our Academic Exchange Program is designed for students looking for the academic benefits and guaranteed placements of our F-1 SELECT High School program, but at a more affordable price. In our Academic Exchange Program, you choose to attend private or public school and we’ll pick the school, based on what you tell us is most important to you (i.e., taking Spanish, playing soccer, studying AP Calculus, or earning a Diploma if you are entering grade 12). We guarantee enrollment in a school offering just that! It s more flexible than the J-1 program and you'll live with a welcoming host family who is excited to share their culture with you!

Dual Diploma Program

Take Online Courses to Earn a Dual High School Diploma from a USA Boarding School and from your home country!

Accelerate your academic career by earning a USA high school diploma virtually. Combine interesting online courses with your local high school classes and even your studies abroad to graduate with two diplomas – 1 from home and 1 from the USA!

This is a great program to gain a competitive edge when applying for university, internships and jobs. Our Dual Diploma program gives you the opportunity to show your academic aptitude and rigor by studying 2 high school programs at once.

Choose to study 100% online or combine with a J-1/F-1 high school exchange.

Eligibility

• Age: Must be in 8th grade at minimum and complete the online courses before turning 20 years old

• Length of Program: Flexible! Study at your own pace. Start anytime and complete the program in 2 –4 years. Synchronous Summer options available.

• Language Requirement: B1-B2 suggested

• Grades Accepting Students: 8-11

• GPA: Minimum of C average

• Graduation Timeline: Students must complete the online program at the same time or before they graduate at home.
